#60DaysOfHappiness Day 44 Still catching up on my gratitudes backlog. Helped my college friend and his gf move from Santa Cruz to San Mateo. They're no closer, but I'm happy they're not going to be farther away -- and it turns out they bought a condo! They'll have room to host game nights!

#60DaysOfHappiness Day 43 A day of music theory, piano (more triad chords), and some digital audio workstation learning. Itching to get to some composition/applied theory stuff, but I'll be patient. There's a lot to learn.

#60DaysofHappiness Day 42 They're reskinning Hangar One at Moffett Field. It was sad (but also kinda neat) seeing its skeleton the last few years, but I was worried it would degrade due to weathering. I'm glad they're fixing that now.

#60DaysOfHappiness Day 41 I got pretty behind on this challenge, but I'll try to catch up. On New Year's Day I was able to spend some more time with my friend Darcy over in SF. The Indian pizza we had for lunch at Al Hamra was pretty solid.

#60DaysOfHappiness Day 39 Music homework. Learning scales and chord progression. The sadness has been strong, and motivation fairly low, but I did complete the assignment. Next up: play them on the piano, and then tackle chord inversions.

#60DaysOfHappiness Day 37 House and petsitting for my brother and sister-in-law for a few days while they're visiting relatives. This good girl has been keeping me company. There's also a cat and 4 chickens.

#60DaysOfHappiness Day 36 I'm still working my way through these persimmons over a month later. They've held up well, and are really good in cereal. Only four left to eat--glad I haven't had to throw any out.

So, it's taken me a while and I'm late to the party, but I just finished Season 1 of Arcane and whoo, yeah, caught some tears there. I hear Season 2's quite different but I want to go in blind aside from that.

Alright fam. Real vulnerability time. After exiting a 9 yr relationship in August where I felt controlled and trapped (sometimes physically), I'm out and working on recovery. I wanted nothing more than peace and freedom, without constant pressure for intimacy. I didn't expect the loneliness. 🧵 1

#60DaysOfHappiness Day 25 Attended a friend's choir concert this afternoon. All of the performances were extremely impressive! It made for a good break from work, since I was teaching/dancing in the morning/early afternoon and at night.

#60DaysOfHappiness Day 21 For the first time, I did 200 pushups in one day (previous record was 130). When I started in August, I could barely do 5. Progress (and the visible arm gains) are gratifying. I got these swiveling pushup bars to help reduce wrist strain and they work pretty well!
