giving AIs personalities is bad for you in general, but if this sounds like a good idea to you, the best thing you can do is go build it and fully control the entire stack. because if you don't, you will stop thinking of this as a thing made of gears and parts, and you will start to cook yourself.

I don't think I've actually seen any 'AI bros' on bluesky. Definitely some serious AI users, but they're pretty thoughtful and usually nuanced. The dogmatic anti movement on bluesky seems definitely convinced anyone not vocally decrying AI as heretical idolatry at every possible opportunity is one.
