It so annoys me when journalists assume private schools in Australia offer a higher ‘quality’ of teaching. It’s utter rubbish. All of our teachers do the same (or very similar) teacher education courses and often the most skilled teachers are hired by the most needy schools.

Just check out the posters in gyms - they promote an unhealthy obsession on looks - it’s big in tradies culture too- get a loan on a big fat black 4WD ( that too small for tools & gear), go to gym & pump iron for muscle (not strength), hit the protein powders and roids. Onya mate.

A reminder that after 6 years since COVID, globally we could have learnt and installed widespread building HEPA air filtration systems. Just made it the norm, especially for school, hospitals, shopping centres, theatres etc But we haven’t 🤷🏻‍♀️
