Just a silly little guy joining artfight this year. Gonna be away from the site between the first through the sixth next month since I got things going on which means a possible higher chance I will do revenges

Just finished 6 oc moodboards for The Arcana fandom. First and third are apprentices while the other three are mages to some degree

I might join art fight next year. Not doing it this year since it’s so close to the cut off (pretty sure I missed it too??), and the fact that I’m needing to get back into the groove of actually drawing. For now, look at my fictional partner, Asra- my artist origin story comes from The Arcana lol

Not super consistent posting anyway, but life shit is happening so I won’t be posting a whole lot (more than usual). Can treat y’all with a piece of recent art for compensation! Daedalus and Icarus years before the infamous flight

I only created the trans masc one for myself. My brain decided to side quest with making 4 more. Trans fem, nonbinary, genderfluid and agender. May make more when I get the energy again. For now, these are free to use. Will post transparent versions later

After this one, I have two more to make. Finished this one last night/very early this morning. Definitely had a lot of fun figuring out the fatal flaw for the character.

Ok! Took a moment and see if this works! PJO oc inspo/moodboards. Atlas the son of Zeus. Phoenix the son of Ares. Alarik the son of Dionysus. I got some lore on them but I need to finesse their individual lore before I post about it first

Let’s see if I have to crunch the quality like I have to on Discord! This is my preemptive warning post before I possibly spam the repost/make posts back to back. If I have to do that, we shall die like men and watch me crash out a third time /hj

So, currently working on Polites’s ref sheet. Don’t plan on doing an underworld version since it’s a monochromatic teal green with white pupils. I will be adding his clothes in a moment, but had to take a break since I’ve been working on this for probably the last hour or so (maybe 2/3 with sketch)

Damocles’s Sword @damoclesswordthron.bsky.social · 24/03/2026

Hail Ares! I decided to do two versions as the helm is one of the most recognizable symbols outside of the spear. As for why I used blue and not red? A) It’s a more common color of lightning ; B) both Zeus and Hera tend to be very blue coded. With Ares being their child, it makes more sense

Damocles’s Sword @damoclesswordthron.bsky.social · 19/03/2026

Hail Father Zeus! Little devotional piece. He’s basically the only father figure I look up to. I’m probably gonna have to end up making a separate Bluesky account for my religion stuff. I am the Magpie as I associate myself with corvids and their representation of mortality

Damocles’s Sword @damoclesswordthron.bsky.social · 16/03/2026

I do plan on adding something in the empty space for Zeus’ altar card eventually. For now though, these are basically completed and I’m quite happy with these. As a note: I was thinking of adding drachmas to Hermes’ but decided against it since the caduceus felt like enough and got the point across

Damocles’s Sword @damoclesswordthron.bsky.social · 14/03/2026

New pfp. Digitally colored it. Did not plan on using lighting. The shading is to make an illusion to it being further away

Damocles’s Sword @damoclesswordthron.bsky.social · 13/03/2026

First post in a while? Woah! Anyway, this is half a piece of small sketchbook paper that’s going to be placed in my travel altar. Zeus and Hermes will be getting one as well either by tonight or tomorrow. There’s a welcoming prayer being hidden beside the epithets of Ares

Been a hot minute. Tbh, I wanna rant about a decade old album from a band that has disbanded. “Ulysses Dies At Dawn” by The Mechanisms Idk, I just love the world building and the music. My favorite song being “Favored Son”. Definitely not something I’d 100% recommend to everyone, but I like it.

So- did end up drawing modern clothes for my oc. I’m thinking about making him my persona since I highly associate the design with myself. Dunno, but I’m definitely proud of this piece since I really like how it turned out

010

Damocles’s Sword @damoclesswordthron.bsky.social · 25/07/2025

I still have yet to finish this, but enjoy 2/4 parts of my eye refs. Next up is: Penelope, Athena, Aphrodite, Hera, Circe, & Calypso. If anyone wants to guess the eye colors I got picked out, feel free to guess. I’m genuinely am enjoying this & I get to plan out more designs fore later

Damocles’s Sword @damoclesswordthron.bsky.social · 12/07/2025

Haven’t posted in a hot minute. Anyway, been in a bit of a drawing funk so I will be making eye art for the named EPIC characters. That totals up to about 22, not including: variants, monsters, & the winions. May increase to 26 if I add in my other 4 ocs, but all I give is Phoenix for now

120

Damocles’s Sword @damoclesswordthron.bsky.social · 29/05/2025

I promise- I know how to keep up with my list of things I want to draw. I just keep getting distracted and wanting to create new things… #epicoc

120

Damocles’s Sword @damoclesswordthron.bsky.social · 27/05/2025

I may or may not reuse some of the stuff I’m typing for my rendition of the EPIC universe for my own canon & lore. Like how Satyrs are surprisingly more horse-like while Panes are closer to the stereotypical satyr. I love looking things up for research for design ideas (context in the replies)

100

Damocles’s Sword @damoclesswordthron.bsky.social · 26/05/2025

So, reusing the name Thymbraeus for an EPIC/Greek Myth oc. Thinking of making him an artificial nymph that was created by the 3 brothers (Hades/Poseidon/Zeus). I only know for nymphs in the EPIC fandom, they are an element + one creature. I got 6 (3 each) to work with now...

Damocles’s Sword @damoclesswordthron.bsky.social · 24/05/2025

OK SO I RENAMED THIS BASTARD. His name is Pyrometios. It just flows a lot better than Pythanesis. I should redraw him… maybe update his character as well. Definitely keeping the phoenix motifs though

2 1/2 (front and back) pages in five star ring notebook filled with basic info about Greek gods (Animals, Colors, Plants & Symbols) just to only use some of that info for EPIC designs. Not to mention that I wanna draw my OCs as well. And the designs for the mortal characters in EPIC

Just had an idea for an AU. Dual/Twin Mentors: So, we all know that Ody is mentored by Athena. But what if he asked Ares for guidance too at some points? It’s just that Ares is very disapproving of Ody’s actions until Love in Paradise. Ares may be violent warfare, but he’s well known for protecting+

Update on my Duolingo situation: Deleted the app and now using Mango and Language Transfer.. I actually feel like I’m learning something with Mango. My notebook for Ancient Greek is gonna look like a fucking coloring book lol. They also have modern and Koine Greek on Mango. Ancient is free though

Pissed off Duolingo is going to be chalked full of AI now with the new CEO. Fucking sucks since I had a 76 day streak and it keeps me motivated to do lessons with how it works. www.tumblr.com/cloudstidesn... Cool! The intro is up on the tumblr. This’ll be the main hub for longer posts and lore drops for my canon in the EPIC universe. Admittedly I am much more of a dick to weed out anyone who may be harmful if I’m ever blunt. I try not to be mean, but I will if need be

Used Hero Forge for a general idea of the character design for my upcoming DnD character. I will be actually drawing him later. Just wanted a reference idea for him. I wonder if anyone can guess the Greek myth/constellation he’s roughly based on. Clue: His current (and temporary) name is Jason

So- I may have started playing Baldur’s Gate 3 recently and I am kinda wanting to draw him up. And yes- I did name him after a Greek hero… it may or may not be named after Achilles… I promise, I am totally normal about it. (Yes, I am a simp for the vampire. I like biting /platonic)

Update: Two more skeins are supposed to come in Sunday. I do not believe I can leave the scarf on the alter at this point lol. I may end up using one of the skeins to add length to another skein of yarn that I’m sending to my mom when I finish the project as a Hera/Zeus scarf

010

Damocles’s Sword @damoclesswordthron.bsky.social · 18/04/2025

Welp- with my birthday past now I have more yarn to finish the scarf I was making for Lord Zeus. Also thinking about making candles so may put the candle making kit my mom got me to good use too! I’ve been wanting to make an online shop for this sort of thing for a while. Gonna celebrate Olympia too

Reusing a pose for the chibi. Anyway- was gonna do a 3/4 view, but it wasn’t working the way I wanted. May edit it on my art app. As of right now, this is a very bare bones look for my Odysseus. I promise- lion traits will show up in the hair. Trying to make him look wolf like at the moment. Enjoy!

030

Damocles’s Sword @damoclesswordthron.bsky.social · 15/04/2025

Getting the urge to draw up my version of Epic!Odysseus. Thinking of having wolf/lion motifs. Unsure, but working on a separate project right now. May draw him with my version of Epic!Poseidon

So- asking for those who liked my Greek myth stuff: Would anyone be upset if I ended up recreating them to be more Greek myth inspired than directly representative? So my Epic designs may end up still as Epic designs but I will be redesigning and redoing so they’re not 100% the Greek gods. Is it ok?

100

Damocles’s Sword @damoclesswordthron.bsky.social · 10/04/2025

So: Here’s some like- 3 or so year old art. This was my home/lock screensaver for a while. I will never be able to replicate what I did to get such soft lighting. Don’t remember how long this took me, but yeah, still super proud of this

010

Damocles’s Sword @damoclesswordthron.bsky.social · 10/04/2025

Woah- different style? Whoever could’ve guessed that I can do line less when I have the patience. Anyway, just a background change to keep Trump supporters off my page. This is Sanctum. They’re a hell hound/shape shifter. They use they/them pronouns. No more politics after this. It’s past 1 am here

010

Damocles’s Sword @damoclesswordthron.bsky.social · 10/04/2025

So like, heads up if you’re trying to follow me: I’m pagan, queer, trans, and would rather die than support Trump. I don’t like getting political ‘cause that’s not me or my account. If you support that him, fuck off. You’re not safe here with me. May change my background to my anti-Trump one.

Needed to add an overlay, but this is my little persona. Yellow/gold, red, and black has a significant meaning to me when together. Though, black for the clothing represents my comfortability around death. Red is my favorite color, and maroon is definitely up there with favorite shades of red.

Damocles’s Sword @damoclesswordthron.bsky.social · 07/04/2025

May have forgotten how much I love doing eyes like this. It looks so soft and pretty- This is genuinely the most detailed part of the piece because it’s just a little persona so I can draw myself with my gods. I drew myself as a wolf ‘cause I don’t feel human. The gods will be a lot more humanoid

000

Damocles’s Sword @damoclesswordthron.bsky.social · 07/04/2025

Ok, further intro: Hi! Call me Ajax and I am agnostic/pagan. Currently trying to dive into Helpol with the gods Zeus and Hermes being who I worship currently. I don’t do commissions (yet), but I like to draw when I have the time. Don’t have a particular niche, but I like to draw monsters & animals.

Been a minute. May draw up some devotional pieces for Hermes and Zeus sometime after the 12th. Turning a good 22 this year. Just gonna do something for myself this year and not fret. Gonna take it easy. May post my crochet projects here soon. Hail Lord Zeus and Hail Lord Hermes Safe Travels folks
