I guess most specifically like, deckbuilder type ones? And also realize I may not be giving myself enough credit or something just... I'm not good at it? Never have been. So just feels weird to get that lucky. Anyway just yellin' at a wall when I should just feel the yay I suppose.

I.... am never sure how to feel when I win my very first run of a roguelike type of game. Like, I won yey~ But also... That's not supposed to happen? lol. I don't feel like I learned anything to help hone my abilities for future runs. I was just pushin' buttons.

Still a little short of where I want to be. We have enough to cover airfare for Mars and their S.O. but that's about it. Reminder: Mars has food allergies so we need a good bit of financial cushion to cover their needs while they're here. That being said... paypal.me/lukejudd instead of GFM please

One thing that seems to help me, at least, is to work on countering that voice with "Regardless of if I deserve it, they wanted to do it all the same" and just tryin' to accept that, even if I still can't quite accept if it is "deserved" or not. Small steps instead of tackling a mountain, y'know?

Damien of the Floof @damienfox.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

Yeeaahhh, definitely something I'm all too familiar with.. And I know from experience how difficult it can be to quiet that voice down that wants to argue. ^^; Hopefully you'll be able to find what works for you to be able to start working past that voice~

Y'know what? I already have a fundraiser for transition needs. We need to get Mars an airline ticket ASAP to make sure they can be out here the week of my surgery, which is the second week of November. Any help would be immensely appreciated. www.gofundme.com/manage/help-...

Big mood when the important function is a state altering thing like a sprint or crouch, so everything goes sideways when I just kinda make it happen because usually I physically can't tell I started gripping the controller harder in the moment

Been having a ponder and miiight put Kingdoms of the Dump on pause for now to once again try to understand the draw of spoopy season by streaming spoopy adjacent things. Not sure how many such things I currently have, buuut I know of at least one that's been on my mind.

Damien of the Floof @damienfox.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

But I do think if one's after more direct engagement with chat, a familiar game also makes sense as that's less distraction from what the streamer really wants from the stream. Just kinda depends on one's focus and vibe, I feel like?

Damien of the Floof @damienfox.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

This here is most often what I seek as a viewer and a streamer. An overall chill vibe while a new experience is being shared and explored where people can chat if they want, but otherwise can lurk to their heart's content.

Eepy brain, will likely use tonight to also draw and aim for Sunday evening to be thr game stream. Almost actually have the thing I've been working on done~

Damien of the Floof @damienfox.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

The urge to art be stronker than the urge to gamerate, so gonna do the draw instead tonight~

Throat was pretty rough by the end of last night so very unlikely to do stream tonight so as to rest all of that.

Might've said this before at some point, but I have a very specific memory that when I was young, I wanted to be content. Not happy, happy was overreaching. I would settle for just "content" when I grew up. So, uh... if you've ever wondered why I am how I am in some ways, that's probable insight?

As I continue to use my racing game as a arts and craft platform, I did up a couple of cars based on friend's OCs. GR86 based on @damienfox.bsky.social's Alessi, and the Stagea based on @wiredhyena.bsky.social's Cirious.

A Toyota GR86 in a mildly disorienting livery. Primarily black, with the side done in red, green, black and white checkering that mimicks TV static. Other highlights includes a wide body kit, mixed-matched wheels and a demigirl flag sticker. The car is parked in a orchard of cherry blossom trees in bloom.

A tan and black Nissan Stagea is parked at a vantage point overlooking Tokyo City. The car is majority tan (front end) and features brown "spots" between the front door jam and the dividing stripe. Said stripe is bordered gold towards the front of the car, and silver towards the back. Between is a blue that angles up into green, then fades to black.
