I have been super excited for the new The Ghost in the Shell anime since it was first announced, so really looking forward to watching the first few episodes on the big screen in *checks watch* 20 minutes! 😊

Predictably my #KamenRider fixation has resulted in a purchase! I got 2 #Blokees Shin Kamen Rider & Cyclone sets from AliExpress and customised one into Kamen Rider No 2 as a very quick weekend job! I see why Blokees are so popular- they really do remind me of lego, and are a nice break from Gunpla!

I really haven't had time for games much this year! But am shocked that Fallout is 2nd considering I only played it for literally that 3 hrs after finishing the Fallout TV series and that Gundam Battle Operation 2 is 3rd considering i haven't actually played online at all!

Tojima wants to be a Kamen Rider has quickly become one of my favourite anime of the year! It's got that ridiculous over the top energy which is always fun to watch 😁 (i might even have to check out Kamen Rider proper!)

Finally finished and submitted my GBWC entry for this year, 'Clash at the Castle'!

An unknown white Gundam type mobile suit, with 4 eyes and body based on Iron Blooded Orphans parts.

Two mobile suits clash at a castle by a river

A bulky green mobile suit fires at the Gundam

One more thing: check out Gquuuuuux designer Ikuto Yamashita's take on Nu Gundam and Sazabi from 1989, and then check out the concepts for Gquuuuuux- the man has clearly had some thoughts about his version of a Gundam for a long time, and just happened to play with some of them in Evangelion...

Ikuto Yamashita's Gundam illustration from 1989

Designs from the Evangelion proposal- including an all white Eva Unit 1 with a V fin....

Still very pleased with the GM that I made a few weeks ago using an Entry Grade Gundam, leftover parts and the GM II head @purufey.bsky.social got for me from Japan! 😊

Speaking of Chubby Gundam characters, here is Witch from Mercury's underrated best gal, Lilique Kadoka Lipati! (The fact Witch From Mercury has three named and decently represented plus sized characters was great to see!)

Lilique Kadoka Lipati From Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury (2022). Adorable and Chubby, Lilique is standing with a big smile on her face, holding a tablet in front of a whiteboard with GundArm Inc's completed checklist.

1000% agreed! That's why appreciate her description in Tomino's Gundam novels!

The image is of a passage from Yoshiyuki Tomino's original Gundam novels and reads: "Nice to see you, Ensign," Mirai said with a smile as she walked by him. He stuttered a pleasantly in response, thinking how pretty her eyes were. Her full figure was apparent beneath the sharp lines of her uniform.

Another project complete: Real Type RX-78 Gundam! I have always liked the Real Type Gundam Colours and it just seemed right on the retro style Gundam ☺️ Very pleased with how it turned out! #gunpla #gundam
