Love listening to trainings that are obviously AI avatar / voiceovers. Some of the words feel like mad libs where the rest of the sentence sounds fine tonally, but suddenly "data" is said weird. The same exact tone and inflection used throughout the entire training regardless of the situation.

Replied back to an artist with a very succinct "Thanks! I love it!"... only to sit down and write out a more well thought out email to show appreciation. I'm often short and to the point, but I understand that being more verbose can convey how I feel about something. I can do better.

I hear things are rough. You’ve been through a lot, and it’s easy to understand why you feel the way you do. I can’t draw parallels to our lives, but I made a lot of stupid decisions when I was younger too. I didn’t figure things out until my mid 30s and I’m /still/ figuring things out…

My father was disappointed when I took a tour that he would have loved to go on. Unfortunately, the plane seat is small and couldn’t fit the both of us. I paid for him to go this year - and I’ve not seen this man this excited in a long time. Money well spent.

Which ultimately let all the other things come through. Medication has made a world of difference, but sometimes I lock in a little too hard. I suppose the moral of the story is that it may take a few times before someone sees what you already know to be true.

I was so focused on not being rude and paying attention to the psychiatrist, that they were like “Nah. You don’t really have ADHD, but you score high on social anxiety.” Second psychiatrist had me take a test that was the most excruciating 20 minutes. It removed the person element.

US experience here. What encouraged me was seeing the benefit my son saw from medication. I had gone in to get a diagnosis initially, but wasn’t really diagnosed with ADHD either the first pass. Part of me feels like my social anxiety hid symptoms when the first doc tested me.
