The most healing exchanges between Caretaker and Little are the moments when the Little hugs the Caretaker as thanks for making them feel safe, or the Caretaker snugs and reassures the Little that everything is going to be okay. Not for any specific cause, but because both appreciate the other.

There's a lot more to me, my personality, and my interests than just ABDL and caretaking, but I've found that is a lot easier to know there I fit into a relationship(friendship or more) when that dynamic is in play, or people are at least aware.

There's some irony in there being such a great event every year for diapered fursuits(Babyfurcon), but the no photo policy means there aren't as many padded suit pictures. Don't get me wrong, I love that people are living in the moment, but I wanna see cute diapered fursuit butts more often.

Nothing wrong with having moods or needs that ebb and flow. One of the worst things you can do for yourself is decide that some gender or sexual identity is ironclad or limits who you have to be. It's just as unhealthy as when people tell themselves that they have to be straight or whatever.

Picking someone with a praise or hypnosis or petplay(or all three) kink, and gently but firmly easing them into trying diapers. ...and then breaking them down until they succumb to the simple truth that they're only a good boy or girl or pet when they're wearing, needing, and loving their diapers.

Just a reminder: Caretakers are people, too. I've heard way too many heartbreaking stories (and experienced a few myself) of Littles/subs who only treat caretakers as a source of ABDL attention, and outside of that don't acknowledge them at all.

Hanging out with other ABDLs doesn't have to be about a competition over who is the most baby. It's totality valid to also have that cool big bro or big sis who is just casually wearing, even flaunting, their diapers. The are plenty of days where I just want to get home from work, get a cute, padded but into my lap, and watch with my chin perched on their shoulder as they draw or play some cozy game, with no interruptions other than the occasional check, change, or sippy cup refill.

Caretaker who decides to break a Little of their smoking habit by giving them a vape built into an adult pacifier, so they can only get a hit by nursing on the pacifier. And then slowly but surely lowering the dose until it's just the paci itself that they're addicted too, grown-up up vices gone.

It's great for folks who only like the DL side of ABDL that diapers pair so well with other kink play. Latex and rubber? Diapers under and/or on top! Pooltoys? Great for grinding while diapered. My favorite Middle aesthetic is pouting tolerance. Having trouble getting in touch with your Little side? Try taking a break from your phone. Actively focusing on coloring or puzzles or Legos without grown-up distractions makes it a lot easier, and more fulfilling, to just exist, and helps avoid getting self conscious or reminded of adult life.

How you communicate feedback after intimacy is important. Listing the actions you enjoyed is just as valuable as explaining ones that didn't work for you. If you only provide negative feedback, partners may get discouraged, if you only provide positive feedback, partners won't know what to repeat!

Caretaker Tip: You're going to make mistakes, and that's okay. The first time I changed a diaper, I missed a tape, it happens! Being nervous, or just having a lot still to learn, is fine, and anyone you're babysitting should understand. You'll get better with time, just keep at it!

Caretaker Tip: One of the most important questions you can ask before babysitting is "What are your limits?", even if sex isn't the goal. There are plenty of ABDL activities that some folks just aren't comfortable with, and that's fine! Strong communication helps everyone have a better experience.

For putting someone in an adult diaper for the first time, communication is key. Clearly state what you're going to do, ask permission, explain every step while consistently confirming their comfort. Words of encouragement throughout with congratulations and a hug at the end go a long way, too.
