dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 22/04/2026A new chapter!!!🤩I was waiting so much what happens next! 110
dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 02/04/2026Orlok: So, you wandered far from the castle in a company of a stinky lousy dog?!!!😡 Also Orlok: (goes away to the forest with Valcu leaving her alone) 😅 110
dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 07/03/2026It’s a common situation, unfortunately. I hope you at least have some fun 110
dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 07/03/2026Oh no! I hope soon it will go away and you’ll be into writing again 😘 110

dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 03/01/2026But here we have a far sadder reason for drawing a parallel. Friedrich is a man, and his passion for his wife considered normal and acceptable. Ellen, however, is a woman, and her sexual appetite was perceived as “possession” and “mental illness”. #nosferatu #nosferatu2024 #ellenhutter 010
dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 03/01/2026Both stand in a direct confrontation. Both experience overwhelming sexual hunger. Both eventually make love to a corpse. And recently, guys noticed that Anna is wearing a dress made from the same material as Orlok’s cloak. (Objects of irresistible passion are dressed in sexy leopard print 😆) 110
dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 03/01/2026Recently, I read in a blog of a knowledgeable person that Friedrich Harding is a narrative double of Orlok. This is, of course, true, and the evidence can be found in the film’s earlier scripts. But when I watched Nosferatu myself, it felt to me that Friedrich is a narrative double of Ellen. 110
dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 01/01/2026We’re in a very strange place with Nosferatu. The director, the actors, the entire crew and those who genuinely understand cinema have been saying loud and clear that Nosferatu is about forbidden desire. And yet, many viewers and even some critics keep insisting on “abuse” interpretations 🤷♀️ 041
dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 31/12/2025In the new year, I wish to all of us a lot of good movies and a better understanding of cinema. So that no one would reduce a complex film about Eros and Thanatos to another abuse story 🙃😜 #nosferatu #nosferatu2024 #countorlok 020
dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 30/12/2025I prefer to think that before reuniting for eternity, Ellen and Orlok wandered the Christmas-lit streets of Wisborg for a while ☺️ And I’m the new year, I hope the haters who missed the point of the film will just leave this ship alone 020
dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 28/12/2025A lot of people stick with “abuse” and “grooming” interpretations of Nosferatu 2025, but nothing can be further from truth. In the end of the movie Ellen and Orlok merged their souls together forever eternally. And I prefer to think it was a Christmas eternity 😉☺️ #nosferatu #countorlok #ellenhutter 110

dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 25/12/2025Omg that’s amazing! 🤩🥰 For me it’s the best Christmas tree I’ve ever seen! 🖤🦇🕯I would love to have it at home🎄 And we could also hang some rats around the edges 🤭 110
dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 21/12/2025( honestly, I think in the cemetery there are peasant vampires, and in the museum their prince is sleeping) 010
dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 21/12/2025And not far from Pinsk there’s a vampire cemetery. No glamorous, darkened Gothic tombstones! Just hardcore Slavic graves of countryside ghouls! (that's exactly what Eggers was talking about when he mentioned "real folklore vampires", not glamorous ones) 110
dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 21/12/2025In summer we've been to Pinsk. In local museum there was a stone sarcophagus... And right next to it, in the neighboring display case, there was a mustache brush. That’s when I realized this was a very Nosferatu place! 210
dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 20/12/2025All creatures of darkness stir on a night such as this... To read the new chapter!😍🖤🦇👻 110
dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 18/12/2025Few people know, but Soviet cinema had its own Nosferatu: Ivan Kalachov, the head of a motor station from the movie "Zigzag of Fortune". At first Alevtina didn't want to marry that toxic old ghoul. But he went to her workplace, a photo studio, and put things in order there. 100
dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 16/12/2025😆it’s not my bathroom, it’s nosferatu’s bathroom in castle. (To be more precise, it’s a praying room or something like that) 110
dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 16/12/2025“I still worry if my bathroom is too loud and garish…” 😆😆😆(I’m kidding) 110
dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 12/12/2025It’s Vitebsk, St. Barbara’s Cathedral. Once a travelling blogger said it reminded him the castle of Nosferatu. “I think all the local vampires hang out there” - he wrote. 110
dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 09/12/2025No, it’s in a small village in the North-West of Belarus. Isn’t it a ginger cake?😉 110
dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 30/11/2025“Following Matthias’s steps”😆Dima, we’re going to Egypt!😆 010
dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 30/11/2025Wow! Can’t wait. (I won’t be surprised if you inspire me to save some money for a journey to Egypt😆) 030
dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 30/11/2025(Of course,I wanted to see Matthias recognising Ellen and Orlok as Isis and Osiris, but that’s my head canon😅) 010
dadabeaver.bsky.social @dadabeaver.bsky.social · 30/11/2025I do love Matthias, he’s an Ellensferatu fan, as we are🖤and I like Teo, you can always tell him when there’s a hole in the roof and he’ll repair 😆but when I used to read about Matthias I felt like I didn’t have enough of his story. What happened to him? How did he got to Egypt? 110
