Salaried workers aren't paid enough to work overtime. When I was salary, I made less money than I make now while hourly, and I worked 60+ hours every week the entire time I was salary. Overtime should be mandatory for ALL workers. This country is so shitty to its workers.

Meta saved 13.7B but is planning to lay off 10% of their staff, approximately 7,900 people. If they paid those employees from their tax savings instead, each employee would get paid 1.7 million dollars. Each. Instead they are being fired so Zuckerberg can get paid even more. Stop supporting them.

In his first 100 days Mamdami has completely abandoned entire demographics of people in his city, when clear and reasonable actions he could take had already been laid on the table in front of him and he chose to continue to ignore. One of those demographics was a group of children. Do better NPR.

Especially curious to learn what the plan is for people on disability, who are unable to work or volunteer, and who don't get added to Medicare until after being on disability for a set number of years. The federal government doesn't pay them enough for rent and food, let alone private insurance.
