Alternative Pricing strategy: Dutch theme park Toverland has announced that entry will be free in certain dates during the winter months, with each attraction costing between €2 and €6. Dates will still need to be reserved. Could something like this work in Disney parks?

Le Parisien reports that the fire was at a multi-unit facility in Chessy, most likely an IT storage, without any injuries reported. 85 firefighters were on site, as there are also tyre and other units in that complex at 16 Rue des Quilles. It did not affect park shows. www.msn.com/fr-fr/s%C3%A...

Apparently it’s a furniture warehouse. Probably not related to DLP but authorities have not given any details yet.

Update: the fire is from a storage facility north of Disneyland Park. It’s across the road from the Resort and outside the Disneyland Paris onstage and backstage enclosure:

A large fire North or Northeast of DLP is billowing black smoke over the parks, we hope everyone is safe and that the firefighters will have it under control soon. We’re looking for updates on the cause.

Can anyone afford to go to Disney now? No. Can Disney afford to lower their entry prices? Absolutely. Will they? Only if people stop coming, and that’s not happening (yet).

Others might be better judges of that. Their burgers were becoming pretty pricey, not sure that’s an indicator or quality though.
