Little Mulder is a screen-watcher! And I'm using that to my advantage. He was exhausted from wrestling w my older cat, but fighting sleep. So I put on 'Jellical Ball' from Broadway's CATS...and the little stinker watched those dancing felines until he was fast asleep. #kitten #cats #witchlife

Forgive the absence. I got my cat a new friend & kittens are just so much work 😅 This is Mulder. He came with that name, which I absolutely took as a sign he was the right rescue for us. I'll probably be scarce a few more days while everyone is finding a new family routine. #kitten #witchlife

My stacks of physical books have been slowly growing again. It's making me nervous, as I've acquired & been forced to sell carefully curated occult libraries 3 times before. At least brain fog has handicapped my reading so I'm not tearing through 100+ books/yr anymore 😅 #witch #occult #booksky

A stack of books on a white shelf, next to a glass-encased novena candle with a picture of Our Lady of Guadalupe on it. The book titles include "Santa Muerte" by Rollin, "La Santisima Muerte: A Mexican Folk Saint by E Bryant Holman, "Baphomet" by Twyman/Rivera, "Kali: The Dark Goddess of Dakshineshwar " by Elizabrh Harding, "Pan: The Great Gods Modern Return" by Pail Robichaud, "Devoted to Desth" by Andrew Chestnut, "Bahomet" by Stuffin, "Weaving Fate" by Aidan Watcher, "The Comoleye Srcret Cypher of the UFOnaughts" by Allen Greenfield

This synchronistically popped up in my feed, so I ordered it! 😃 My first 5yrs in magic I was obsessively working "Self-Initiation in the Golden Dawn Tradition" & pouring over RAW, Carroll & Hine. My craft def was influenced. I'm excited to read this in my ungovernable, feral middle-age! #witch

I need a re-read of John Mini's "The Aztec Virgin". I worked so hard for that book! All the used copies were way too $$$$, so after a few years I just tracked down the author & asked if he had a copy I could buy 😄 He was kind enough to find one, sign & gift it to me 🩷 #bruja #witch #booksky

It was a really bad pain day again, which got me thinking of my pet peeve with the occult & witchcraft scenes: The notion that rigid daily practice is a requirement for success. For many chronically ill folks that's not possible. But our magical is still real! #witchsky #accessiblemagic #spoonie

Just lit a candle for Guadalupe's feast. Being half-Mexican American raised by white family who hid proof of my ancestry & told me I "didn't count" as Latina isn't the easiest place to start from. But She was the first spiritual connection I made to my heritage. And I love Her❤️ #witch #bruja

Went to a Christmas market & found a used bookstore. Clearly a LHP ritualist had recently sold off a few titles 😆 I had to hold myself back as the pricing was a bit high. I also found what is going to be a HIGHLY problematic book from 1971 😅 But the price was right! #occultsky #witchsky

I was researching offerings made to Dakshineshwar Kali & discovered that since the 80s they've spritzed a particular Western perfume around Her. Bottles were $$, so I found the notes to make Her something & saw Florida Water has so many shared scents! I've been offering Her that for years 🥰 #witch
