hyness and the hylets

Kirby comic.
Hyness (dancing around in joy): njaaaaah! I simply MUST take my precious little darlings for. A walk!
Kirby: Is he talking about-
Zan: He's not referring to us.
Kirby realizes in shock that Hyness is taking tiny versions of himself (theyre just his head but with feet) for a walk

Also the reveal that sakurai intended both Kirby AND metaknight’s genders to be unconfirmed has expanded my mind.. what other characters have unconfirmed genders originally but were arbitrarily assigned smth in English/later on? much to think about when I design more gijinkas..

CZ-Beary @czbeary.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

learned a lot abt Kirby gender from this video! It never crossed my mind that bc of their lack of specific Gender characterizations, Kirby is free to dress in whatever gender’s style and can be portrayed in both female- or male-exclusive art pieces and not feel out of place..

Enough of the bad guys with tragic backstories. we need good guys who’ve done a lot of sht in their past and continue to hold questionable morals but have always been kind to their protagonists. sort of like how it feels to have an uncle or be close to an older adult irl

Finally watched a vid to figure out what Neichel’s whole deal is and wow… it is very interesting. Everyone in the comments saying she’s the gaster of Kirby but the whole singing about a prophecy, world ending disaster, and the power of music js Extremely splatoon to me actually

Omg no worries lol first multiple reeds all get chewed through, you’ll figure it out with time! even if u dont damage them u Gotta use new ones every few months either way :p yess its easy to make a sound on the instrument but good embochure and tone have a rly high skill ceiling!! Good luck!

CZ-Beary @czbeary.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Practice long tones, good posture + embouchure, and basics (scales and arpeggios)!! Consistency is key you got this!!!

i am remembering why star allies was my main fixation for a while lol that game’s lore was insane.. Kirby and dark matter being revealed to be relatives and freaking. Morpho knight??? Being meta‘s scrapped design, tying in the freaking Butterfly in every game’s opening before then. man. Man

Went traveling at a [city in asia] and it was such a profoundly depressing experience. the same mass produced dolls n souvenirs everywhere and every poster, mascot, and logo was ai generated. Doesn’t matter if it’s a random street or the biggest [market] in the world. The same mass produced garbage

I need to catch back up on Kirby lore dude theres speculation going on on the tl that I don’t have the context for.. what even happened in forgotten land . Last vestiges of humanity?? Or the ancients??? And then a butterfly absorbed a fetus…. Isn’t there also a dlc
