I made a visualizer that's live on YouTube, too! :D Full music + art credits there & on Bandcamp/Subvert/Soundcloud.

Before the WTF show last week, @xxkaixi.bsky.social tricked me by suggesting we both make remixes, only to back out less than 24 hrs later when I already had my outline down. 😝😝 But I'm glad she did, bc this song means so much to me and I loved working on it & getting to debut it at the Stud. ;o;

HAPPY 909 DAY!! 9 ͜ 9 No comp this year, but I still wanted to have something to release, so here's my remix of the INDISPUTABLE song of the summer by @videomancer.bsky.social, SEVEN DOLLARS! <3 Streaming/DL/visualizer links at cyy.life!

i have 5 full fledged sites with multiple pages each on my carrd account (with slots for up to 25 unique sites total!) and i pay $30 per year. and there’s cheaper tiers too if you don’t need access to some of the more advanced features.

042

cyy♡ @cyy.life · 08/09/2026

if you’re not trying to host large files like videos i’d actually recommend carrd for site building/hosting and porkbun for the domain. carrd is way more powerful/versatile than a lot of people’s landing pages might initially lead you to believe.

(despite how much the direction of reason studio saddens and frustrates me)

cyy♡ @cyy.life · 29/08/2026

but i don’t think anything will be ever able to match the immediacy and versatility of patching. i know there’s modular stuff like VCV rack out there, but reason was never meant to be a replacement for modular. it’s a skeuomorphic studio, and will always hold a special place in my heart :’)

cyy♡ @cyy.life · 29/08/2026

been thinking about this a lot too since the announcement. i really miss the days when upgrading meant lots of new instruments, FX, and utilities EVERY version. they’re still developing killer tools, but it’s all paywalled behind the subscription. i haven’t upgraded since 12 😔

!!!! i'm flattered you wanna ;-; BUT IT'S NOT THAT GOOD LOL i might remake it one day but for now i'm too embarrassed to share 😅

Earlier this week, it dawned on me that the first trance track I ever wrote turned 20 this year. And of all things, it’s called Life. It really felt like a full circle moment, and made me grateful I’m able to continue sharing my vision of life-affirming dance music to this day.

Galant’s play speed covers were a big influence on this track, and is an approach we incorporated into the songwriting and production. This is actually the first full metal track I ever wrote for this project, and it opened the door for the other metal remixes I’ve released in recent years. :D

121

Intentionally listening to music this way often reveals melodic and rhythmic characteristics that are easy to miss, and is a great tool for inspiring new interpretations of a familiar piece.

130

This track features the incredible talent of my good friend Galant5x on guitar solo and harsh vocals! Galant is known online for his “play speed covers,” a practice he developed using YouTube’s playback speed setting to slow down or speed up a song, and then making a cover based on the new tempo.

I’ve been tweaking and (mostly) sitting on it ever since, but earlier this year I learned that National Lollipop Day exists, so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to finally get it out. 😝 (Also, Happy Moon Landing Day! 🌗)

cyy♡ @cyy.life · 19/07/2026

🍭 LOLLiPOP featuring Galant5x OUT NOW! 🍭 This is my kawaii metal remix of the classic TEMPURA KIDZ track. >:D Gaining a huge boost in popularity a couple years ago thanks to Sonic the Hedgehog 3, I actually started working on this remix back in 2021. (Five year release timeline...not bad for me. 💀)

an especially unbelievable/braindead take considering good christian black metal exists 😭 it’s rare, but it’s out there
