Just as proof you shouldn't post things while awake for over twenty four hours and intoxicated, here is the snippet I posted this morning after I read over it and realized how wrong it was. There still might be mistakes, which is why I read over these so much #FireEmblemThreeHouses

“Though I allow you to call me Baby Bird, mostly in private, I draw the line at you feeding me like one in front of people,” Sitri said this even as she opened her mouth to accept the honey drenched apple pinched between Jeralt’s fingers. Was it somewhat embarrassing? Sure. It definitely wasn’t how anyone expected the daughter of Her Eminence, Archbishop Rhea, to conduct herself in front of a table full of guests, but it would be more awkward and call even more attention to the two of them if she protested.
And when she protested Jeralt’s doting on her it usually wounded his feelings and sent him into a spiral of sulking.
“It’s Little Bird,” he corrected her.
“Whichever,” Sitri replied trying very hard to scowl at him despite the combination of apple, honey, and cinnamon melting into a warm sweet pool as she chewed. “I don’t even know why you insist on that silly nickname.”
“Yes you do. I’ve told you before,” he leaned in close to her. Others at the table had taken notice by now. “Because you told me your bones were hollow like a bird’s back when we first met.”
Sitri groaned. “You mean when I was drunk and you had to carry me around like some-some invalid—Goddess, I’m glad I barely remember that.”

“The only secret is the love of a good woman; keeps me young. Well, that and a stiff drink and freshly cut Almyran tobacco.” Jeralt kissed Sitri’s cheek.
Sitri feigned at gagging and stuck out her tongue, only realizing how unbecoming the gesture was after Rufus and Cornelia began to laugh.
