dragons who hang out with people should have polished spots on their scales where they're touched all the time, like the polished statues right on the butt

create for yourself create for the creative process create to show the world what you can do create because it means so much to the world to share what you can do don’t let the slop machines ever tamp down your creativity do it to show them why creating with your own hands matters

Remember to stay hydrated! ————— Got this INCREDIBLE sketch comm from @spikieamr.bsky.social at #ASC2026 Means a lot because it’s the first piece of art, after my ref, that I got after coming out. So incredibly happy with this 💙💙💙 #furry #furryart #dragon

A sketch commission of an anthropomorphic dragoness. She’s wearing a crop top, some arm sleeves, and pants. She’s facing to the right of the picture, smiling and holding a bottle of water, as if she’s about to take a sip. She’s looking at the viewer and has a hand resting on her hip.

This set is special in a way that few other sets have been, as this is the set that helped me work through the emotions from coming out as trans ~two weeks before this show. I know I’m normally pretty brief on descriptions, but I want to share my thoughts, song by song, for the first half of the set

Alex M.O.R.P.H. + Christina Novelli - Utopia
This song feels like the moment I realized who I was, speaking through to myself. I felt like I finally cut through the noise inside my head, it felt like a dream, felt like utopia. As the song said, I just know that it can’t ever end.

Solarstone + Meredith Call - I Found You (Giuseppe Ottaviani Remix)
“In the darkness, I found you”

I didn’t realize how much I’d been in the dark to myself. Finding myself in this way has illuminated so much for me, it’s been quite literally like someone turning on the sun.

Tycoos + Denise Rivera - Carried By The Sound
Music is my first language. It’s been a part of my life since before I remember, as told to me by my family. So, being carried by the sound is a part of my regular routine. It’s what helps me think, clear my head, work through all sorts of complex thoughts. It only felt appropriate to work through such complex emotions with music.

Above & Beyond + Zoe Johnston - Quicksand (Don’t Go) (Ben Nicky Remix)
This song is very special, as Above & Beyond are the group that made me fall in love with trance in the first place. The line “when I have to help my heart to stand so I can say goodbye to you” hit me exceptionally hard, because I am saying goodbye to a part of me and embracing the part of me I’ve known I am deep down for years and years. It’s not a permanent goodbye, that part of me is still me, but it felt like a marker of one chapter ending and another beginning.

Alan Morris - Elation
This one, despite having no lyrics, felt like an audio manifestation of the euphoria I’ve felt the last two weeks. I’m overjoyed to be part of such a supportive community and to share in the elation and euphoria.

If you made it this far, thank you for reading, and enjoy this set.

my favorite little memory from #ABGT700 I was on one of the shuttle buses right before the show resumed Sat night, while it was so cold, windy, and rainy, and the entire bus starts singing “Sun & Moon” together in a weekend full of amazing moments, that one is gonna stick with me for a while
