I still think that some of the Sony Pictures layoffs towards the beginning of this year effectively eliminated Crunchyroll's entire TV distribution department, which is why all of the latter's shows this year are now distributed by the former's TV department. #Gachiakuta #Toonami

I just saw the first 13 episodes of this show merely MONTHS ago and I forgot how bad Rudo's hands look under those gloves. #Gachiakuta #Toonami

You know, it didn't occur to me at the time that I should've added Square Enix to this meme as Squidward, but since a Final Fantasy VII Remake collab was just announced recently, I guess I don't need to.

After using it, the Googlebook's Linux container implementation makes me appreciate ChromeOS's implementation more.

Do you think there'll ever be an RTX Spark-powered Googlebook?

Friendly reminder that I've always found the social media protocol wars very stupid.

It's not just Surface devices. The XBOX Series X & S also don't have USB-C ports. I think later revisions do, but I have to ask again, why did it take so long?!

This was obviously to replace the Surface Connect port, but that should've been replaced YEARS ago. Why now and with their most expensive laptop?! It's so bizarre.

Why is Microsoft so damn weird about adopting USB-C?!

A screenshot from a video from Parker Burton on YouTube titled, "I Can Finally Get Rid of My MacBook", where he holds the outgoing USB-C port towards the camera, showcasing the charging cable's magnetic abilities.

This could go either way, but with Crunchyroll's track record, I'm leaning towards "bad". I'd love to be proven wrong, though. (Granted, their Originals program was under different ownership, but still) […]

Seems like ActivityPub apps are getting much-needed UI updates, because @pixelfed for Android just got its own update and it feels way more responsive! Well done, #Pixelfed team!

I figured as much, since GooglebookOS is literally just Android, which doesn't allow users to manually create PWAs. The bigger problem for me is the Linux apps. The weaker stability (expected) and not being accessible through the app drawer is a HUGE downgrade in functionality over ChromeOS.

If you want to get a "Googlebook" but for less money, the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 is on sale at Best Buy for $700 right now, which is not a bad price compared to the $900+ of regular Googlebooks. It'll likely be one of the first in line to upgrade to GooglebookOS when the upgrade path arrives.

The Best Buy USA listing for the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14, which is currently discounted to 699 USD from its regular 999 USD for a limited time

wbd.com now redirects you to skydance.com, which now represents the entire corporate portfolio of the new Skydance, rather than the non-Paramount parts of the now-defunct Paramount Skydance. It's over.
