She saw that others were taking advantage of her and tried to advocate for her. Maria isn't perfect but like I'm struggling to see how she was the "bad guy" in that situation. Anna has every right to dislike how things were handled but to go so far and ruin her relationships is crazy!

I get that Maria's intentions doesn't just erase the impact on Anna & her life, but like I don't get how Maria is responsible for her hating herself.
