It's #ScotClimateWeek - a great chance to consider how cycling can help protect our environment. With transport the single biggest source of emissions in Scotland, the more local journeys we can shift to sustainable transport, including cycling, the better for our local air and the planet. 🚴‍♀️

🚲 Michael has cycled all his life. Now aged 89, his bike remains a vital way of getting around day to day. "It's my main way of looking after myself. I use my bike to get shopping most days... I realise just how much easier it is to get around and to deal with everyday things by using my bike."

🚲☀️ A brilliant month for #BikeabilityScotland delivery in the Western Isles! All schools on all islands in Comhairle Nan Eilean Siar have now delivered Level 2 on-road cycle training this school year - giving children in the region the essential skills and confidence to cycle safely on roads.
