🌍 This #AngusClimateWeek2026 we’re highlighting how we’re taking climate action across Angus from reducing diesel use, increasing electric vehicles, cutting business travel, improving recycling, and reducing energy and water use. We’ve already reduced emissions by 59% (2025/26).

Arbroath Estate Walkabout Update Eight residents from Millgate Loan, Stoneycroft Lane, Dishlandtown Street, Ladyloan, joined Cllr Speed, Cllr Durno and Angus Council staff for an estate walkabout on Wednesday 19 August 2026. Read more: orlo.uk/oLP5G
Photo 1: By placing recyclable items in the correct bins, we can all help keep the area cleaner, tidier and more pleasant for everyone.Photo 2: Fences in several locations around Stoneycroft are damaged, and there is currently no ad hoc repair service available. It was agreed by those present that the broken panels would be removed, this work will commence in the coming days.Photo 3: 81–103 Millgate Loan: Fencing panels and garden waste are scheduled to be uplifted by Parks Services.Photo 4: Dishlandtown drying area: Parks Services have weeded and treated the area with herbicide. Tree and shrub pruning will also be carried out near the two grass mounds beside the railway line.
