Explain your user name: I have metal splints on all my fingers, & I used to wear a metal waist-to-knee brace so I could walk. I am now an electric wheelchair user, so the leg brace is gone, but the finger splints are still necessary. Since my wheelchair is electric, I am now battery-powered!
