@eblu I may go and make a wafrn. I like the folks in my immediate circle though.

I'm kinda feeling it, especially the second one. Might have to smooth out the feathers? Re: floofy.tech/@Cybird/114463389447395…

Honestly one of my biggest problems is that I'm just never satisfied with my sona.

I did make a Dragonite OC, MechaDragonite, that I made a long time ago that I proceeded to do nothing with.

Reading this post be like: "Hell yeah, they are gender af. Just put a beak on him and that's like my ideal setup. Ah fuck am I going to have to redesign Cybird again??"

@niss@chitter.xyz same tbh. dragonite is a big mood, and gender goals.

I think it'd also pair nicely with Marda33's SkeuoCord theme that I have running.

Discord window with Marda33's SkeuoCord in light mode with dark sidebar via Vencord.

I got the old Linux Mint sound effects and turned them all on. I like my OS noisy af, I wish I could get Firefox to make noises when I open and close tabs.

Linux Mint System Settings: Sounds in Mint-X Style
Volume: 100%
All of the sounds are active and have "_m21" appended to the filename.

@nytpu I wish we lived in the world where it caught on. I made them (or more accurately a descendant of them that's stripped of the copy protection and geared towards general data storage) a staple of my Retrofuture setting simply because I find them compelling as physical objects.

I wonder if MiniDisc would've been more successful if Sony didn't pull all their Sony-isms with it (and if the RIAA didn't demand draconian copy protection after the Digital Audio Tape dabacle)

After ~5 years, I finally used all the pages in this sketch pad.

To encourage people to use reusable drinking vessels, many vending machines offer the option to act as a soda fountain, selling the refills at a reduced rate compared to buying a new can/bottle. #cybirddoodles #cybirdlore #Doodle #oclore

Vending machine called "Refresh Ice Cold Drinks" selling Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Pepsi Max, Mountain Dew, 7up, Squirt, Dr Pepper, Diet Dr Pepper, Arizona Ice Tea, and Simply Lemonade sold in quantities of 350, 500, and 1,000 mL. The refill option is significantly cheaper than the vended option.

In my defense, California already has a sizeable Japanese American population, it'd probably get bigger over the course of 404 years.

Any time I see Japanese in sci-fi/cyberpunk art, I can't help but remember a professor that I had in Uni that thought that it was problematic to "use Japanese as shorthand for exotic and foreign."

The chicharrones are in paper bags because single use plastics are basically banned in The Nation of California in 2429. #cybirdlore

I don't know why, but I felt compelled to draw myself getting an elote. Maybe I'm just craving some. #cybirddoodles #doodle

$Cybird holding an elote and chatting with a street food vendor cyote in a wide brim hat beside their cargo trike. The tricycle is equipped with a lever that lifts the front wheels up so that the box can stand firm on the ground. The box has a pair of coolers on top and an umbrella to provide additional shade. Text on the front of the box reads "Chicharrones\豚の皮" above a picture of a pinwheel chip and several hanging paper bags, and "ELOTES\トウモロコシ" above a heavily stylized image of a corn cob with mayo on it.$
