If you haven’t yet had a chance to check out my comic #TexArcanum from @darkhorse.com the TPB hits shelves 3/31. Such an incredible printing with phenomenal art from our fantastic team. Telling this story was such a thrill and the reception has been deeply humbling!

I’ve said that @stephenking.bsky.social and Clive Barker were my childhood gateways into reading. Eyes of the Dragon and Thief of Always lead me to The Stand and Imajica. But on the other side of that gate was CARRION COMFORT by Dan Simmons, a brilliant author whose talent will be deeply missed.

Honestly, I wouldn't be a writer twice over without Rob Reiner. I remember falling in love with genre storytelling by watching Princess Bride. And not long after, my love of writing itself (the words, the craft, the poetry of it) was sparked in large part by The American President. Thank you, Rob...

Supergirl trailer was incredibly fun. Thrilled to see Jason Mamoa in the DC role he's actually right for... Couldn't think of a better piece of superhero casting...

Replaying Cyberpunk 2077 and I’m fascinated by how receiving quests via text destroys the immersion of meeting characters in the context of the world itself. Sidequests in this game feel so impersonal compared to The Witcher. A ping and a dossier does nothing to invest me in the story of a gig.

I appreciate that @lastweektonight.com had the temerity to address the Kimmel situation directly and not couch their response in a level of satire that, while clever, also serves as cover. The "Dear Leader" approach adopted elsewhere feels tepid where Oliver's "Fuck You, Make Me" is what's required.

It’s funny, the @stephenking.bsky.social novel I would most love to (re)adapt for series is so seldom discussed and yet obscenely relevant these days. And the director’s cut of the original film is, in my opinion, under appreciated. Any guesses?
