End-to-end solar eclipse timelapse, taken using a SeeStar S30 from Bristol, UK (yes, I know the start wasn’t centred!) 😁 #solareclipse #eclipse2026

Best part of the #F175 event - seeing a load of people who are obviously never put in close proximity to partisan fans get very uncomfortable. Second best, hearing Gordon Ramsay very much *not* getting or caring about the swearing memo. Jack Whitehall was impressive and a breath of fresh air. #F1

Like this, perhaps?

Jack Whitehall hosting #F175 is a similar gambit to Ricky Gervais hosting the Golden Globes. The people who are uncomfortable are the exact people who *should* be uncomfortable.

Please, I’m begging you. Get Jack Whitehall on some kind of official #F1 podcast, or at the very least get him into a presenting job at #Sky. He’s exactly the kind of anti-ego that the sport needs.

Absolutely loving Jack Whitehall hosting the #F1 launch show! Brilliant choice, immediately poking fun at George and Max, probably ruffled a few egos but doesn’t care. Brilliant!

Rewatching Matt Smith’s first episode of #DoctorWho - I genuinely think that his first series might be the best series of any TV show, it’s so effortlessly brilliant. Also, the Ponds are my favourite companions, hands down - the dynamic is perfect between the three of them, and River is epic too!

Have just seen #Wicked and have two comments (stop reading if you don’t want very minor spoilers). 1. The whole Menzel/Chenoweth cameo in One Short Day is pointless BS. 2. Cinematically, the end of Defying Gravity should have cut straight to a black screen and then credits. Otherwise, epic 👏🏻👏🏻

Agreed - that was poetic. Also served as a middle finger to the FIA and Ben Sulayem 👍🏼

That was an accident waiting to happen - should have been dealt with immediately. It also cost Hamilton and Sainz with punctures, and luckily Bottas escaped without damage, it’s just fundamentally dangerous.

I honestly love my Sealander and would highly recommend it 👍🏼 I have the Bader bracelet and my only criticism is the bracelet feels too light and insubstantial - would say that the Consort is too dressy for me. That’s not to say it’s *bad*, there’s micro-adjust and a decent clasp, so YMMV 😄

How does showing humility and team spirit make a mockery of racing?

Genuinely surprised and pleased for both drivers, and even better that he was actually told by the team to *not* do it. Gives Lando the kudos, gets Oscar the win, gives appreciation for working as a team and still gets McLaren the maximum number of points. Job very well done all-round 👏🏻

Even better that Lando was actually told by McLaren to *not* swap positions with Oscar. Just shows that slice of humility. Genuinely impressed! #f1 #qatargrandprix #formula1 #papayarules

Absolutely brilliant #teamwork from Norris and Piastri. Lovely work from both drivers and shows McLaren as a proper team. Love it! #f1 #qatargrandprix

Our cat loved ours, so much so that when she was unfortunately hit by a car at just a year old, we buried the hammock in our garden in homage - our other cat didn’t really get it and it felt weird to just keep it or throw it out

The turntable is a Christmas present from my wife, so in that sense, new is preferred as second-hand Christmas presents aren’t normally the “done thing” but I get where you’re coming from. I’ve heard awesome things about the Planar 1 - will see what I can find, thanks!

Question for any #audiophiles out there. Looking to buy my first serious #hifi turntable and enjoy #vinyl again! Setup is a Cambridge Audio phono stage, Arcam Alpha8 amp and KEF Coda SP1034 speakers, and a budget of £250. Considering the Fluance RT81, Pro-Ject Primary E or E1 - any suggestions?

An important distinction must be made between having “freedom of speech” and having freedom to pick who to listen to. The fact that someone has the ability to voice their opinion doesn’t mean that anyone else is under any obligation to pay attention to or interact with it. #ThoughtForTheDay 🤔 💭

First full day on BlueSky, first watch post (advance warning, I like watches!) - my Omega AquaTerra is my go-to, classic enough to fit with almost everything and the bracelet is unmatched (although I generally prefer a NATO strap) #watches #wristcheck

It feels like this is a genuine inflection point, for sure. The difference with @bsky.app is that it feels familiar in terms of UI, doesn’t over-innovate, and taps into that “life before the world went to crap” feeling of nostalgia. Hopefully it survives past the initial burst and enough stay 🦋

Hey #F1 We are making a starter pack of verified F1-related accounts to help avoid impersonations or mirrors. We're adding accounts to this pack which are linked from a verifiable website or a previously verified account (on X, Reddit, etc) go.bsky.app/57f6geP

*pressure intensifies*
the dreaded image captcha with the upper blue text field that says select all squares with trash dumpsters if there are none click skip followed by an image of two trash dumpsters blocking disabled parking spaces one of them a cyber truck apparently owned by a very thin skinned elon musk fan who is not mad
the bottom has three icons a three quarter circle with an arrow a set of headphones and an i with a circle and next to that is a blue rectangle with the text skip

As part of my #BlueSkyMigration, I will be requesting my Twitter data for archival/backup purposes, however I will not be: a) deleting my Twitter account b) migrating/importing past tweets The blank slate and fresh start of a new platform is something that I think should be embraced! #newbluesky

My Microsoft Sculpt keyboard has been having RF issues for a few months, so I’m looking for a replacement. Core must-haves are split layout and USB wireless (not Bluetooth as I use a KVM switch), open to trying mechanical but scissor keys preferred. Suggestions? #homeoffice

Have to be honest, I’m genuinely appreciating the fresh start on @bsky.app - my last serious tweet was at least a couple of years ago. Moving platforms won’t be for everyone, but it’s worth a shot!
