I think Google should add a new time preset called "Pre AI" that would only show results before 2023 🤔 Would be useful for fact checking and image search etc.

1/ In software engineering, we often use “productivity” as if it meant everything. It does not. Productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency are separate ideas. Related, yes. Interchangeable, no. Confusing them is how teams become busy without becoming better.

Is AI Just Stealing with Extra Steps? (Presented by CodeRabbit) - Whiskey Web and Whatnot - Episode 229
This week, Robbie and Adam talk about the ethics and economics of AI, and why “stealing with extra steps” feels like the right metaphor for where things are headed. They dig into open source burnout, ...

"I’m a project manager. I’ve got a backlog, and I just send my backlog to a bunch of turd nuggets that are just lackeys in a gas town, and then they do the work and that this is our future." How @nerdy.dev explains working with agents on Whiskey Web and Whatnot 🎯👌

I was trying to look into how you did that pwa install banner, to see if you meant to be using dvh instead of vh or something, as it stays floating when url bar hides when I scroll (I have url bar at bottom), but I couldn't find anything. Is that a chrome native thingy?

Usually no, but some authors just use so fantastic metaphors or delightfully unexpected figures of speech that can't help it. For example Douglas Adams in the Hitchhiker's series or Markus Zusak in The Book Thief.
