It honestly hasn't been a particularly shitty/hot summer, but I'm so ready for cold weather. Give me cocoa, give me sweaters, give me staying inside and wrapping up in blankets.

As someone who has played through FF9 back in the day and also again a couple years ago, don't bother. Or maybe just watch a longplay of it? It's a completely Fine game, and there are some great moments/plot threads, but ultimately I didn't feel it was worth the time it takes to experience them.

Loved that series as a kid. Had no idea that he was part of the voice cast.

This just in: protestors begin teaching each other "stop hitting yourself" self-defense techniques in anticipation of the shock-glove rollout.

Please Square do not do an FF6 remake. Please ESPECIALLY do not make one in the style of the FF7 remakes, that shit is so unnecessary.

Option 2 (cont.): Offer to provide limited consulting support to the new development team for a specified number of hours or whatever you feel like you could swing.

Option 2: Give them the source code and authorize them to continue development. Have a legal contract drawn up that states that you get a percentage of any profits made in the event they decide to sell licenses for the software.

I'm not sure if you're asking for more general advice or specifically for terms based on you donating the source code, so forgive if any of this isn't applicable. Option 1: 1 - Donate the source code free and clear, with no offer of support. Enjoy the immense weight off your shoulders.

Good Christ, in my memory it came out in the 90s and I was a kid seeing it. What excuse did I have seeing that dreck as a legal adult?

Master of Disguise. Even as a kid, I thought it was insipid.

Love Taskmaster. I prefer the original British version, but he Australian one is good as well. You should check out the season with Jason Mantzoukas, it's fantastic.

I feel like I read "So You've Decided to Become Isolated and Weird" cover to cover during the pandemic, really took it to heart, and now don't know how to be a person in public anymore. Or maybe I've just always had a friend to do things with, and don't know how to enjoy events on my own.

A still frame from "The Simpsons", of a hand holding a book with the title "So You've Decided to Become Isolated and Weird" and a picture of Bart Simpson pulling down a window blind on the cover.

Came across an ancient relic today; An IT toolkit from CompUSA.

A picture of a light Grey plastic clamshell case, adorned with "CompUSA" branding across the front. It is resting on a wooden tabletop.

Idly checked out the University of Pittsburgh Surplus site the other day. They had a sealed copy of Windows 3.0! Bidding was up to the $70s already, so I didn't bother.

As Pigma turns tail, Peppy calls the porcine pilot a "two-timing swine". Given that the Star Fox universe is made up of sentient animals, is "swine" like a slur for pig-people? Is Peppy a racist?

So in the opening cinematic of the new Star Fox game, we see Pigma Dengar betray his wingmates, Peppy Hare and James McCloud. youtu.be/VPdobtLUa2Y?...

Maybe! I actually don't have much Thievery Corporation, so you might have gotten it from another source. Happy that my influence looms so large that you automatically assume it was from me, though.

I didn't know they were making a new one! I had the original Steam controller and it was fine, but not my thing. This one looks like they mashed an Xbox and a Jaguar controller together.
