I really don't know how to tell people that my health isn't likely to improve. That it's going stagnate and potentially get worse... I'm not exactly dying, but I'm not thriving either.

I've had people who can't afford to support monetarily be the reason paying clients find me just through word of mouth alone. My next customer might not see my post, but they might see your repost of my work or comms.

My 14 year old cat had an emergency and stuck us with a decent sized vet bill. She's at home and recovering. There are two ways to help out! Either donate directly to my Ko-Fi or you can buy some amazing merch from my shop! Signal Boosts are helpful! ko-fi.com/arteopteryxart arteopteryxart.com

This is Kit, he's my 16 year old chihuahua. He's my first pet after moving out of my parents and we've spent the last 4 years together. Kit unfortunately has dementia and is going downhill quick.... (Full text first picture) ko-fi.com/yowa2858 www.mercari.com/u/yowahoshih...

A tan and white chihuahua in a teal cable knit sweater standing at attention on a bed with pink sheets and shaggy blanket. There are pink pillows behind him and a white and orange Guinea pig stuffed animal that is nearly as big as him. He is looking directly at the camera with ears alert.

Maybe I did take on more work to help mask the grief I was having dealing with my brother passing. I just want to see the zine world thrive. And make enough of an impact that others are inspired to take part too.

I feel bad about putting some projects on the back burner, but I had to prioritize my mental health. I can be more active now with them because my head is in a better space than it was last month.

I came across an outdated guide on image grid sizing crop/proportions for bsky earlier, and I felt it was important to create an updated version! Please use this new guide instead!

Up-to-date BlueSky Crop Aspect Ratio
Crop Sizes for Bluesky as of 18 Oct 2024

By default, single images are uncropped. If image is too tall (Exceeds the 1:2 aspect ratio) then it will be cropped. Single images that are too tall may be scaled down but aspect ratio is preserved

With two images, both of them share a square aspect ratio of 1:1

For three images, the first image is square (1:1) while the other two are half-squares (2:1)

And for 4 images, all of them are 3:2

By the age of 30, you should have: - a Bluesky account - a favorite spoon - an account on Twitter that you can't quite bring yourself to delete but you know in your heart that the site will most likely get seized by an international agency at some point & get closed completely - back pain
