Simon King @currentform.com · 05/09/2026@aresluna.org This feels like a detail I'd find on your blog. More of a workaround for MacOS notch shortcomings, but the first time I've seen an app detect and warn about this. It's a menu bar only app, so without this message it would have seemed like it just didn't launch. 110
Simon King @currentform.com · 08/05/2026I visited The National Museum of Computing at Bletchley Park, a 40-minute train ride northwest of London. This is the site of the British codebreakers during WW2 & they have recreated authentic working builds of the Bombe and Colossus computers, which decrypted the German Enigma and Lorenz cyphers. 020

Simon King @currentform.com · 03/02/2026One thing I appreciate about The Economist is that they always describe Epstein as "a dead sex offender" instead of some bullshit like "disgraced financier" like other media outlets. 051
Simon King @currentform.com · 28/01/2026Sudheesh Nair, CEO of TinyFish on @marketplace.org straight-up laying it out that AI is funded by authoritarian countries and they use their power and platform control to hide and shape public info on what they are doing. @kairyssdal.bsky.social gives him a chance, he declines to say that’s bad. 000

Simon King @currentform.com · 05/01/2026Impossible to walk past the Fireside Bowl without a flood of memories. I saw so many great shows here in the ‘90s, mostly while living in Michigan. Always a tired drive home at 2AM with the windows down and the music loud to stay awake. 030

Simon King @currentform.com · 15/03/2025The freezing rain and strong winds didn’t deter 100s of protestors from speaking out against Elon Musk’s fascist takeover of our government. This is the 5th week — every Saturday at 11am, outside the Tesla dealership in Golden Valley, MN. #TeslaTakedown 0125
Simon King @currentform.com · 27/01/2025Found some old floppy disks. My favorite part is the palimpsest of the labels showing its many lives. 010
