Mikhail Simin @curling.gg · 08/12/2025Hey #curling community ❤️ 🥌 Releasing a beta feature for uploading photos. I know for a fact it has some issues, but when it works it's very fun. Give it a try. If it breaks - send the photo to me and I'll use it to improve. Have fun trying it during #OQE curling.gg 280

Mikhail Simin @curling.gg · 01/01/2025The reason I haven't implemented errors is because I also don't have sweeping that can help those errors. Adding features like that would more for arcade purposes rather than strategy. 100
Mikhail Simin @curling.gg · 01/01/2025Hey Ben! It's been brought up, but not a highly popular request. If you want to simulate mistakes from your players you can straight up place a rock, or drag the stone to a different position when it comes to rest. 000

Mikhail Simin @curling.gg · 21/12/2024Hey #curling community! New feature on curling.gg just released. Tolerance simulation allows you to quickly visualize plan B and the outcome of a missed shot. Check it out, let me know what you think! 061
Mikhail Simin @curling.gg · 04/12/2024I was also thinking it could be tablet + phone combo app. Put the phone in a location to see everything. Use the tablet to set identifiers for hog line, center line, etc. Then geometry will be enough and you can watch and review your shots on the tablet without moving your phone 000
Mikhail Simin @curling.gg · 04/12/2024A curling sheet has some well defined distances. Maybe the width of the sheet has some flex, but the rock itself is pretty static, distance from hog to house is exact. Etc. So if a few parameters are visible it should be enough. 000
Mikhail Simin @curling.gg · 27/11/2024We have club sensors and club ipad - so Android users like me can still benefit. I keep dreaming of being able to just use 1 phone and it's camera to do vid analysis and produce all possible data. Velocity, angle, rotation, wrist deviation from original kick etc. 110
Mikhail Simin @curling.gg · 21/11/2024The laser at hogline gives instantaneous velocity while backline + hogline divided by 27 feet give average. 020

Mikhail Simin @curling.gg · 21/11/2024Hey #curling community. I recorded a handful of split times versus actual measured velocity for my rocks yesterday. A trend line is visible. You can see that my positive release is decently consistent with the biggest issue being lightest weights near 4.2s pushing too much. Anyone else do this too? 581
