Did you know Hans Kelsen was born in Prague? After leaving Nazi Germany, he was offered a professorship in Prague, backed by President Masaryk. In 1935, Kelsen was appointed a professor at our German-speaking sister Law Faculty. He left soon after the Munich Agreement in 1938.💡

Did you know that Franz Kafka graduated with a law degree in Prague, passing compulsory exams in constitutional law? He studied at the German-speaking sister of our Law Faculty, which operated separately from 1882 to 1945. Franz Kafka Square is just a 5-minute walk from us! 🐞
