I bought these rolls the other day. I'm excited to shoot them! Have you shot these before? Do you like them? The shop I got them from suggested shooting the Phoenix at 100, in bright light. Thoughts? #photography #filmphotography #colorfilm #herman #flicfilm #phoenix #colorphotography

Every single year my anxiety brain tells me that this is the year no one turns out...and every single year we break the previous year's record. Together, we raised half a million dollars for @translifeline.bsky.social!💜💜💜 Trans rights are human rights, and all are deserving of equality and love. 🏳️‍⚧️

I....I am overwhelmed by this. Magic: The Gathering players just raised $50,000 for @translifeline.bsky.social in 4 hours! Everyone donating, everyone throwing in prizes, everyone spreading the word...thank you. I am at a loss for words. Thank you for supporting this amazing cause. 🏳️‍⚧️

New roll time! Here are some scanned negatives. I really like how they turned out. It's Flic Film Cinema xx 250. Haven't seen this film before. It's a respooled Kodak? I'm still learning about that. Is this common? Fun stuff :) #filmphotography #35mm #analogphotography #pnw #photography

I'm still learning about film. I don't have my own space to develop or print yet. So the studio I take my negatives to takes a few weeks to develop and scan. They have a roll of mine for pickup today and it's always such a fun surprise to see how they turned out. Yay Friday :)

After I shoot a roll I take it to a photo studio to have the negatives developed and scanned. I usually post the photos right away. I decided to try adding a white border. Do you like the borders? Thoughts? #filmphotography #photography #analogphotography #35mm #blackandwhitephotography #pnw

This is a black and white image of a foggy woodland scene. In the background you can see darker trees on the left and the right. In the middle, there is an avenue of trees heading off into the distance, where you can see light breaking through the centre of the image.

Doubles, handmade darkroom surreal art. I've put quite some efforts into these ones. Especially the last two. They are all unique prints, combining two frames under two different enlargers, moving the paper in between. #believeinfim #surrealart

Tree in the middle of a cloud above the treetops. Handmade darkroom work.

Trees reflection but a different treeline on both sides. Handmade double exposure.

Lonely tree in a sea of clouds. Handmade double exposure..

Chairs resting on a line of leaves. Handmade double exposure.

I thought about that too, but somehow liked the little touch of color. Anyway, here is a monochrome edit with contrast bumped a bit further. 😎 #photography #monochrome #tokyo #japan #streetphotography @bskyphotos.bsky.social

In this photo taken from an elevated level inside a commercial building in Tokyo, we can see pedestrians walking in various directions through the building’s concourse. The midday sun enters the scene from behind, resulting in a highly contrasted play of shadows and silhouettes. This edit of the photo has been converted to monochrome.

Does music give you Frisson? Aesthetic chills or psychogenic shivers? If so what are your favorite songs that give you this sensation? This song comes to mind. Specifically at 5:20. One of my favorite guitar solos. Then the outro into the drum fills and chorus get me every time. #metal #goosebumps

How do you discover music? As a musician I feel guilty using Spotify, but it's how I find artists. I can't stop listening to Elder. Their songs inspire me to write more for our homebrew D&D campaign.
