Found this in Poco Vino my local Aldi last night. Glass size wine bottles are not new, but the look, packaging and concept looked genius to me. Very clearly aimed at women. Wine i sampled (Malbec from France) was just OK. Back to full bottles for better quality, so...

Glass size wine bottles with screw tops branded Poco Vino (a little wine). Bottles are long and narrow, an unusual look more often associated with cosmetics or perfume.

Birders of #Speirgorm: a mistle thrush in my front garden yesterday perched on my car most daylight hours. It seems to guard our big holly tree (full of berries) which it uses for its winter pantry. Is this a silly interpretation from me? Noticed one last winter, too. @naturenymph.bsky.social

Dublin tourist recommendation: visit of the Jeanie Johnston on Custom House Quay. A surprisingly moving visit with fabulous guide Ronan, of the wrongly named Coffin Ship: it didn't lose a single life thanks to exceptional hygiene on board. Not even when it eventually sank with its full crew!
