Still too saturated... I have turned the riders the #MontrealBlueLine #MontréalLigneBlue into clowns, and the sketches do not capture the ambience setting (it is depressive in a sweet way). I have to be not disciplined - I keep telling myself I should only use two colors, but I get carried away....

Amazing! Do you rely on an eraser at all when you draw clouds? When I use an eraser they turn muddy in an un-cloud-like way, and I have a very hard time maintaining a good level of contrast between cloud and sky if I only add layers of graphite to my sketch (without erasing).

They may feel uncomfortable anywhere, but perhaps Canadians are too polite to show it. Funny thing... I spent a few days in London this summer and tried to draw people in the tube - it was a disaster. They would stare right back and some even asked me what it was I wanted.

A Dutch lady riding a train in the environs of Utrecht. I should note here that I tried sketching people in southern Europe, but it was impossible... Unless they were tourists, they would stare right back at me. In Holland, as in Canada, people do not seem to care, or they are less confrontational..
