Barring a sudden turnaround, the Suns are expected to make some major changes this summer. But not in Mat Ishbia’s all-in approach. “For better or worse, there’s no ‘trust the process’ to Mat Ishbia.” ESPN story on the state of the Suns: www.espn.com/nba/story/_/...

No 'trust the process'? What's next for the Phoenix Suns

The Suns are in danger of missing the play-in tournament with the most expensive roster in the NBA.

This is great. I personally think “Waterloo Sunset” should be number one on any list, musical or otherwise, but this is a terrific read on a really deep body of work.

OK, I’m intrigued… Fountains of Wayne returning, with Max Collins replacing the late Adam Schlesinger? Is that what I’m seeing?

Probably Colin Ferguson, the Long Island Rail Road shooter. But I'll happily take that over Elon.

so mcdonald's is bringing back Uncle O'Grimacey with this year's shamrock shakes, and you need to know his history

UNCLE O’GRIMACEY As positive as the Shamrock Shake’s impact has been, there have been some missteps. To help promote the Shamrock Shake, McDonalds introduced the new mascot character Uncle O'Grimacey in 1975. The Irish uncle of the purple mascot Grimace, Uncle O'Grimacey (complete in his kelly green hat, shamrock-patterned vest, and a shillelagh) would travel from Ireland each year bringing Shamrock Shakes to McDonaldland. Uncle O'Grimacey was quietly phased out of McDonalds marketing after a few years due in part to an alleged incident in Philadelphia in 1978 where the person portraying him made statements in support of the IRA and that British soldiers were better dead than alive.

For the good of humanity, let's hope this ends in humiliating, smoldering failure.

And if this Bluesky thing doesn’t work out, I guess we all move to MILF Messenger.
