First day tomorrow working full time as dead wife. I got to giggle under the blankets from 9 to 2, then take you by the hand through the woods from 2:30 to 5, my blond hair shining like gold under the tree canopy.

I want to be a bit more present online because I don't plan on abandoning art in general as a career so I might make more posts that are just sketches and scribbling? Maybe even some writing. I want y'all to see I'm hustling and bustling.

The photo albums I got of Beksinski are from the BOSZ publishing house. Those are beautiful, and great. The house is Polish and it seems they worked with Beksinski or at least with his family/state. Never a painting crosses the page's margins and all the details about the artist come from himself.

I got a Giger photo album from the Taschen publishing house and I find it lacking. There's a lot of atworks but they insist on placing them between pages, eating away chunks, and the biography sections feel too little about Giger and too much about the critics' headcanons of what HRG wanted to do.

Dood 💀 [GUTTER PLANET] ☢️ @cspstuff.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

I think I don't like Giger that much in the end. I prefer Beksinski so much more. I thought they both occupied a similar place in my taste brain, but I find the first even lazy at times, and with not much thought process. Still has a good bunch of bangers, of course, doesn't compare in the end.

Also what if instead of a Babadook you put a big lizard or John Carpenter's "The Thing" (1982) in your story? Or a reaaally scary guy.

There are some concepts in SH: Townfall which I do really like and appreciate because they have genuinely never been done before or this coolly, but I can't talk about them because they're technically spoilers, so... ...play the game, so I can speak later.

I dreamt I was sitting at a table with a couple. The man stood up and said “I don’t feel well” and he then collapsed into a pile of sludge and bones. Their cat dug through the pile and put all the man’s teeth into his mouth. He then whispered something to the woman and she got REALLY mad at me.

I don’t remember what we were talking about but the man stood up and said “I don’t feel well” and he then collapsed into a pile of sludge and bones on the floor. Cregger's Resident Evil is a good example of "Fast Body Horror." In the 80s, a lot of Body Horror was "slow" because in order to execute a special effect, there was one gimmick per shot, so transformation sequences had many cuts and emphasized the mechanics of the gimmick.

I wonder if that lack of stuff may be due to having a lower budget than SH:2 remake of SH:f, which I don't know how to check, but imo it's pretty possible.

Dood 💀 [GUTTER PLANET] ☢️ @cspstuff.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

The game is at its strongest when it happens in St. Amelia, its streets, the working class neighborhoods, etc, but when it has to be an actual SH game it feels like it doesn't want to fully dive into the weirdness and esoterism of it all, and that makes the whole experience deflate.

SH: Townfall has a lot of interesting things going on, and for the most part I'm pretty on board with it, but I can't brush off how uninspired the "otherworld" sections are. I think I get what they're trying to do, but I also believe there's more Silent Hill-ish ways to do it, more rich/flavorful.

I may even reserve a specific binder for notes and layouts of stories. I don't know how useful that'd be with my scattered mind but maybe I'd help me think more practically about it all.

4. Africa. This one is a series of analog horror vids in my mind, but may end up being just a story too. If it were videos it would be very cool to do stuff like hiring voice actors (not on my salary but oh well). 5. Casa. This one would be more like a lore/story book. Illustrated.

Right now I got 5 projects in mind. Codenames would be st like: 1. Factory. Main one. I got ~50 pages done and it's nearing its end. 2. Reform. Just 1 page done. I don't want it to be long. Tops 10 pages? 3. Witch. Been marinating for a long time. I may actually have found the ideal format.
