I’ve gotten two more of these fellas to use for parts on 2 rail o scale custom models since locos like these are great custom model fodder, but one is in such good condition I may just keep one but repaint it. It will definitely be a unique loco to take to the club to run. #modelrailroad

The layout has been coming along pretty well, all the landscaping has been completed so I’ve been working on getting the ground cover on and bases for removable buildings. The details in its infancy but more will cover the areas once all the larger parts are done. #modelrailroad

Took Stepney to the club for chassis testing. He runs well forwards with a bit of a wobble but refuses to run well in reverse. The wheels also keep coming unscrewed from their axles so I’ll have to sort that out. However he’s coming together quite nicely, need to make lining transfers #modelrailroad

After a bit of work, mostly fiddling with the power pickups, The Fitzwilliam is running once again. It’s a bit slow and draws a bit of power so it may need a new motor, but it’s ok for now. Really happy to see it running. Need to get some proper rolling stock to put behind it now. #modelrailroad

deltarune today! Played chapter 5 and wow, just $$$$ wow, another masterpiece of storytelling for deltarune. Lots of awesome art, banger new music, great new characters, great jokes, sweet gameplay, and lots of emotions. My jaw dropped once I got to the end of the chapter. Amazing! #deltarune

I had my old layout torn down. All the buildings, trees, and salvageable details were removed and are to be reused as I am currently in the works of building a larger and even better layout! Track work is mostly complete on the new one with just the wiring to be completed to work. #modelrailroad

Finally got my hands on a logging loco for a good price. Picked up this unpainted Rivarossi Heisler, it runs good but is a bit noisy. The mechanism is very interesting to look at too. Planning to paint it to something more than all black to make it nicer to look at. #modelrailroad

Started work on the o scale terrier. The plan is to make a few mods and paint it to resemble the terrier Stepney. Still a long ways off but gave it a test run with its new chassis mods and it held up well for a first run. Tested some colors too and they look good. Still lots to do. #modelrailroad

My latest acquisition that I’m very happy about, a Vulcan kit o scale terrier. It’s beautifully built, just need to replace the missing buffers and coupling, but other than that it’s perfect and very well detailed! It’s going to have a bit of an overhaul before it will run good again. #modelrailroad

A great new addition to my collection, a oo scale McGowan metal kit of a LNER D49 named The Fitzwilliam. Fully lined and painted to a high standard, just a few chips that need touching up. It’s just a beautiful loco in the fully lined apple green. Needs a little work but it’s great #modelrailroad

It’s loosely based on the Hudswell Clarke 0-4-0 design with a similar setup. The complete model will look similar to this too but will be more of a loose interpretation with a more freelanced design to it.

I’ve started work on building an o scale diesel locomotive, and to start it off I made the chassis. Made using an f-unit motor bogie with added parts designed and printed by me. It’s a small chassis but it came out nice, and it runs good too #modelrailroad

The wagon chassis also had new metal axles, better wheel prints, and better axle box prints so it rolls a lot smoother and has less resistance then the old design
