One thing that's been pissing me off lately has been old folks yelling at me for driving my ebike on the sidewalk. Like yes I get it, cuz my bike IS a vehicle HOWEVER I am doing my absolute best to avoid any collisions and let them know that I am nearby. NOPE not good enough, have to bitch!

Decided to skip the gym today to do Nikke plot and damn these two chapters were REALLY good. The whole Only One explanation was amazing and Marian's awakening was beautiful. I feel like a new form for her coming in the 4th anniversary.

Even though it's been about 2 weeks since Story 2 of Project Matis, I decided to look up reactions to the HEAVY moments of the story and damn it did not disappoint. A few reactors I watch occasionally got hit hard by those scenes and seeing their chat too just made me go yea this is why I play Nikke

Randomly started to watch/listen to Valkyria Chronicles scenes/music and damn I forgot how powerful that game really was. PLEASE port 2 and 3 to PC or console cause man I really wanna replay 2 and give 3 another shot. Such a beautiful series.

Just did the 2nd part of the Nikke event and...holy shit that was heavy. Maxwell's speech at the end truly hit hard and her resolve to treat Syuen not like before really hits. It just goes to show how Shift Up can produce such heavy stories and change the player's view on their characters.

To say how much of a stranglehold Nikke has on me, when I was reading the end of the current Project Matis event, I actually teared up at seeing little Laplace just appearing. It's not even an emotional moment but her bright smile for Syuen just...damn this game.

So the past few days over on Twitter I kept seeing people say the Nintendo Direct sucked cuz it was mostly JRPGs and NOT Mario!. So went to watch some people's reactions, most notably the Xenoblade segment including one from the Nintendo Store. The amount of cheers for HOLY SHIT NEW GAME made my day

Ignoring the chill tonight, honestly biking home at like 10 pm is just very relaxing and therapeutic to me. It's probably due to the lack of people on the road but just biking in pitch darkness is just very enjoyable. Now I just need to get a better light so I can actually see...

Okay stayed up late to experience the first scenes of Anis Star and I'm already enjoying it a lot. Anis is one of my fav characters and seeing her at the start of her journey to present day story really shows her growth. I LOVED her refusal to buy Yoyo's 'apology'. Barebone apologizes don't cover it

It's been nearly a week since I saw Pretty Star and yet the emotions from that story still hit hard. Watching reactions to the event's main moment has been a treat for me to see them react like I do now. Just goes to show Nikke's writing is incredible and why we stay for the actual plot.

Yesterday I spent 3 hours reading the new Nikke side story and it still amazes me how powerful the writing is for this game. We knew going in what the end result was for Pretty but seeing it actually occur and the result of her actions made me tear up a lot. I'm still shocked at the whole story.

Every now and then I'll get recommended YT vids of people's first time playing Nikke and man I still love seeing people's reaction to the end of chapter 1. It's nice to then check their channel and go ah yes they fell for Nikke's storytelling and depression...Excellent :3

Been playing Resident Evil 5 with @berrycrepes.bsky.social which we did play together about 2000 years ago. I forgot we decided to give her basically all the high powered weapons while I basically played medic. As is tradition for any medics, I died the most so far. Still a fun and silly run so far.

I finished the latest Nikke event which happened to be the Christmas event and god damnit I ended up crying again over this game. Nora as a character we only knew just from the previous event and now she's the sole focus on a major event. To see her dream and promise fulfilled hit hard.

I just finally finished Star Rail's Amphoreus story and man I'm glad I'm done with the game. The Irontomb boss was bullshit and frustrating and the story never got back to the hype the end of the first cycle (3.3-3.4) had gift wrapped for them. The more I played the less interested I got.

Looking back to my original thoughts of how Goddess Fall would end compared to what actually happened, I'm honestly glad I wasn't spoiled of the ending. A couple things I expected did happen but jesus the tragedy of what happens next is gonna be interesting.

Spent the 200 gems to read the whole Nikke event and....fuck. Holy fuck... I'm SO GLAD I didn't get spoiled by the end of that event cause jesus christ that hit HARD. While Unbreakable Sphere was emotional, Goddess Fall is just....fuck... Fucking Nikke and their anniversary events. SO FUCKING GOOD

Yesterday I finally took the time to get caught up on the Nikke main chapters 39-42 and I heard it's really good but spending up till 2am to finish 42? God damn it was good. I know other people said the mixing between the Commander's and Anis' stories was bad but honestly I loved it.

Been listening to Hurricanes, the 3rd anniversary song for Nikke and god damn I don't know how Cosmograph does it but its ANOTHER banger. Not to mention how damn good the event story is so far, god damn! It really feels like the end....of the prologue XD. Damn I love this game!

Finally after 150 hours I have once again 100% Mira in Xenoblade X. Damn Telethia took probably like 5-6 hours of grinding tickets for upgrades but hey its done. I still TECHNICALLY have a ton of stuff left to do from ground gear, Lv60 skells, the armours, but I think I'm good for now.

It's been only a few days since I watched it but god damn Andor was amazing. Been seeing someone's fanedits of scenes and it really feels like an official trailer for a grand epic movie showing the founding of the Rebels. It's amazing to see so many things link up to a movie 10 years ago.

The past couple days after finishing up the Nikke event just made me love it more and more as I saw more player's reactions to it. The story focuses on multiple themes, facing your fears, redemption with others and facing your depression. Each of the four girls having their own story helps this.
