We will be skipping again this week. @mp3jsark.bsky.social is still recovering his strength and we want the full Dark Daddy. Go check out any of the other great Thursday streams. It’s a good night for music.

No stream tonight. @mp3jsark.bsky.social is recovering from freaking pneumonia, which is no joke. So, send him healing vibes and plenty of kitty memes.

This is just your reminder that Goth has always been highly political. The choice to PRESENT as Goth alone is a major indictment of mainstream values. So you snowflakes remembering something else lived in a privileged bubble where you let yourself pretend you did not hear the fucking lyrics.

Wouldn't it be amazing if during tomorrow's L.A. protests, a whole contingent brandished boomboxes playing Sly Stone's "Everyday People" and Brian Wilson's "Love and Mercy", to show that our city stands for agents of art and hope, and not agents of ICE and fear.

044

Crucible @cruciblela.bsky.social · 07/06/2025

We stand with all the people holding the line and endangering themselves when ICE comes to terrorize graduations, work places and other every day events across Los Angeles. Tear gas and flash bangs are not new to us.

The very definition of evil is incarcerating for life in one of the worst hellholes on Earth men who did everything right. But it’s beyond evil—beyond demonic—to then not try to do anything to save the men you consigned to Hell, *and* to in fact libel and slander them daily when they cannot reply.

It’s a rough decision to make. Lose years of followers and an audience or do the hard thing. It’s not for everyone. And no one is less than for remaining on meta, especially if they make a living or keep shows full that way.
