I think what makes me so encouraged that A.J. Ewing can be a spark and positive to this #Mets offense is the overall plate discipline he showed in AAA. 96th% K% 81st% Chase Rate 94th% Whiff% Plus a ton of good stuff on in his zone bat control (z-Swing% and z-Contact%)

Calling up Ewing was the right choice for the #Mets. Couldn't be taken seriously with this current group of bats. It may not work, but Ewing is a top prospect and is having a great year. Very well worth the dart throw. Needed to be willing to be bold/aggressive.

My guess at the #Mets lineup post-Robert trade: Lindor SS Soto RF Bichette 3B Polanco 1B Robert CF Alvarez C Baty LF Vientos DH Semien 2B Obviously still some movement could happen with Bellinger to shift things around, or Benge could still factor in here.
