Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 14/10/2026Enjoyed Silent Hill f more, and f is the one I'm more likely to replay down the road But it's still a good entry, and it will tide me over until the SH1 remake comes out. 000
Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 14/10/2026Finished Silent Hill Townfall! Overall a good game with a great story. Had the same issues I had with SH4, in that I HATE dealing with invincible enemies, so chapter 3 and 6 were a slog. Overall I enjoyed it, I'm just not good at stealth, lol.static.klipy.comSilent Hill Townfall (2026) titleALT: Silent Hill Townfall (2026) title 100
Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 13/10/2026Went to a friend's wedding reception. I didn't have any pantyhose to wear with my dress, and the heel came off my dress shoes so I had to wear sneakers. My partner had to hunt for a wearable dress shirt, then found that all his suit jackets were too dusty to wear. We are not good at adulting. :/ 000
Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 13/10/2026Hallelujah, the worst section of Silent Hill Townfall just got nerfed! Hopefully that means I can replay it in the future without having a certain enemy utterly CRAWLING UP MY ASS for most of chapter 3. 😑 000
Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 05/10/2026I saw someone complaining about a player at their board game table who was constantly asking AI what to do on their turn. Imagine being so utterly bankrupt in your humanity that you feel you have to outsource your FUN to AI. FFS. 020

Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 05/10/2026The one I DEFINITELY remember scaring me was Ernest Scared Stupid, the scene where the kid is looking under his bed for the monsters and the troll appears in his room. I was so scared that I made my mom sleep in my room with me that night, lol. 010
Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 05/10/2026I was easily scared as a kid, so ALL the shows I watched about aliens and monsters scared me. (But I watched them anyway.) I have vague memories of Ghostbusters and Gremlins terrifying my brother and I in theatre and having to leave the movie early. (Particularly the demon dogs in Ghostbusters.) 120
Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Bluesky's algorithm must have changed again, so I'm now blocking a flood of religious BS, AI slop, and "woman mistaking Bluesky for OnlyFans" posts. Maybe stop pushing garbage accounts and just show me things that match my interests, okay Bluesky? 😑 010
Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 28/09/2026If they ever did a Harry Potter MtG set, it would utterly destroy any goodwill they still have, especially the LGBT+ community. Giving money to JKR is funding her campaign of hatred against trans people. Period. Anyone who's fine being complicit in that is not someone I'd want at my game table. 031
Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Making my way through Townfall after fixing the crash issues. It's cool so far. I just wish there weren't so many mandatory stealth sections. The only stealth games I've ever really enjoyed have been the Thief games, and at least they usually gave you the option to blackjack threats. 001
Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 23/09/2026Well, I've played for about 80 minutes, and had 2 separate Unreal Engine crashes when I've just been wandering around town looking at things. :/ Hopefully they'll push out a patch to fix it soon. Don't really want to keep playing if I'm going to risk losing progress every time I look at something. 000
Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 22/09/2026Looks like I can play Silent Hill Townfall TODAY since I preordered it. Got the download set up before I went to bed last night, so I should be able to jump in when I get home from work. LET'S GO. 110
Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 21/09/2026(Won't quote the original post, because it doesn't deserve the views. But yes, I did see someone using "unalive" today in regards to a person's suicide in order to make their post more "algorithm friendly", and it fucking INFURIATES me.) 010
Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 21/09/2026If you unironically use terms like "unalived themselves" to refer to someone's SUICIDE because it plays better with algorithms... Fuck all the way off. Using childish TikTok euphemisms makes you sound so fucking disrespectful, and tells me all you really value is your viewcount. 120
Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Oh man, I almost forgot that Silent Hill Townfall comes out this week. Already have my copy preordered, so I can start playing once it drops on the 24th. Will it be as good as Silent Hill f? LET'S FIND OUT. 000

Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Listening to a true crime podcast yesterday, and the host stopped mid-story to explain what a floppy disc was. I started wondering why he was explaining it, then realised a whole lot of listeners were probably born after floppies stopped being a thing. Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 14/09/2026Got my money back for the scam purchases, thankfully. (At least Etsy is quick to give refunds with minimal fuss.) But it's just sad to see how terrible the platform has become. 000
Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 14/09/2026...all from different shops. 1 was an outright scam shop that disappeared a few weeks later. 1 was either a scam or run by a very incompetent seller who was making excuses about not shipping to Canada. 1 shirt didn't fit as well as I wanted, but that's the perils of buying online. 2 were fine. 100
Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 14/09/2026Man, Etsy is such a cesspit these days. It's infested with AI slop, full of scam products and shops, and full of mass produced garbage being passed off as "handmade". Which sucks, because it used to be a great place for me to find cool shirts and pins. :( I ordered 5 shirts a few months ago... 130

Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 19/08/2026Just finished the Heavensward expansion for FFXIV. Liked it for the most part, except for all the retconning it did to undo the events at the end of A Realm Reborn. Reminds me of a comic series when a new writer takes over and immediately undoes everything the last one did b/c they didn't like it. 000

Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 07/08/2026I don't know if it's faulty credit card verification or some kind of store policy that's to blame, but it sucks. I'm just trying to buy a new laptop, and they've turned it into a week long ordeal. Thanks for the terrible experience, Canada Computers. I won't be back. 000
Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 07/08/2026I did some searching, and it seems I'm far from the only one this has happened to. Their 'solution'? Use another card (we tried), go to a store (there isn't one around here), or send them an e-transfer and forego all the protections that a credit card purchase offers. HAHAHAHAHA NO. 100
Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 07/08/2026Fuck Canada Computers. My partner and I have spent a week trying to order a laptop from them, emailing back and forth with them, and getting our cards rejected for NO FUCKING REASON. It's taken so long that the sale is over now, so I guess we just have to order it somewhere else. 100
Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 04/08/2026I probably won't play on Switch 2 because I prefer mouse and keyboard for MMOs. But releasing on Switch 2 will make it accessible for people who don't have gaming quality PC's, so that's always good. ❤️ 000
Crowsea @crowsea.bsky.social · 03/08/2026I mean, it's a good sentiment and all. But the ultimate goal should be to do away with tipping and make sure people are paid a living wage to begin with, not to keep enabling billion dollar companies to say, "It's on the customer to make sure our employees can afford rent and food." 010
