iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

At the end of the day, I just want to share whatever I'm up to and not care about any of that. So here's to posting stuff just because I freaking want to!! If this is also you.. hop on the "fuck it, we post" bandwagon with me 🙂‍↕️🫴

... Comparing to others. Burnout. Overall generative slop hellscape exhaustion. The fear of your work being stolen. Imposter syndrome. The hesitation of being ~perceived~ lol..

And there are a lot of reasons for that I'm sure many can relate to. The pressure to make each post perform well. Finding the right hooks and hashtags for the best engagement. Do I make it a slideshow or a reel? Do I add music? Curating posts so that it "represents" you perfectly.

If you check out my profile, it's evident that I struggle to post anything at all. Even though I have a ton of art and timelapses piled up (like these sketches that are a year old now whaaat)

been a while since I posted anything! this you too?

Silly sketches of crows the with text "STILL FUNCTIONING somehow" surrounding them. The crows are doodled in black with white lines to accent body parts like the eyes beak and wings. Each has a small white mushroom coming out of the top of the head. One crow has a thumbs up. One is laying on the ground defeated. One is sitting hunched over sadly as they cry.

Using a scratchy brush like this for sketching is really fun! It kinda lets you explore and pick out details that you didn't intend. Definitely try it out sometime ♥

As you walk through the woods, you hear a gentle creaking of branches and a few soft calls from a crow, slowly getting louder... closer... you turn around and are greeted by *them* ~ Bough & Crowflux for @crowflux.bsky.social My last Art Fight attack of 2024.
