It's so, SO difficult to find winterboots rn. I just want some stompy combat boots that are vegan/non-leather and lace up with no zipper. We went to multiple stores in the city center and the only ones we found were the vegan Doc Martens.

Okay, if GLS is being unhelpful, we'll go directly to Valve. They were a tad better, promising to send a new one after we supplied all the screenshots and proof we had. But still with GLS. At this point, I'm 100% convinced the package was stolen, so I'm asking them to re-route it to my mum.

So L went back later and was allowed to dig through their stash of hundreds upon hundreds of unclaimed packages (GDPR, anyone?). Sadly, they didn't find it. So we contacted GLS, told them the story — and we're completely ghosted. Nothing for two weeks. Silence.

As you would expect, GLS never rang the doorbell, and instead immediately delivered it to a small café about half an hour away from us. Annoying, but we can deal. So we went there, showed them the notice, they checked - they didn't have it. Excuse me? "Boss comes later, come back then."

About two and a half months ago, L and I both got the emails that we can order our controllers. Since L got theirs first, they went ahead and bought it, I cancelled my reservation. It shipped quickly, set to arrive about a week after. Only, the carrier was GLS. GLS is notorious for being b a d.
