I've been known Bsky devs are pro-AI since I still use Twitter (sadly) and every other day someone mentions bsky devs being pro-AI It's jsut that every time they just manage to disappoint me further

Arguing that a game is worth its price because of its length and not its content is really the bottom of the barrel discussions

Because I didn't finish FW, I didn't finish my review script. Well, I certainly have more things to talk about for my video with the DLC reveal...

next year I will change my "bounty card" system for my commissions a bit. I currently offer 7 special redeems people can use, but no one other than a couple of people have used those free claims, so I will be cutting down the number of redeems from 7 to 4 or something

An explanation on why Big Walk isn't available on Xbox. bigwalk.game/xbox

Regarding Xbox

In June 2026 we announced that the release of Big Walk would be limited to computers, Switch 2 and PS5. Since then, we have received many messages and comments, asking about a future Xbox release. We would like to address those questions here:

We have made the decision not to release Big Walk on Xbox, in accordance with the Palestinian-led BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) movement’s call to boycott Microsoft, and their designation of Microsoft Games (and Xbox) as a priority boycott target. If you need help understanding our motives, we would recommend reading about why Microsoft is a BDS priority target, the successes this kind of pressure has already had on Microsoft, and especially, watching this great introductory piece by People Make Games.

It has always been our intention for Big Walk to be played by groups of friends, and we know that keeping the game off Xbox runs counter to those intentions. This decision means that some people will miss out on playing Big Walk with their friends, and we understand the disappointment we’re causing. We are disappointed too.

We would love for people to be able to play the game on Xbox, but not until Microsoft and/or Xbox have been removed as BDS boycott targets.

We’ve made this decision with the belief that meaningful change can be made in the world, that coordinated collective action can confront even the most powerful interests, and that one day, Palestine will be free.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,
House House

This game is already over a hundred hours. I know, I know, it's incomplete, yes, but don't worry! They will sell us the remaining stuff as DLC at half a full price that fixes that problem! Do people not hear themselves

1125 12

Astra Raksell ✨☄️ VTUBER // CMMs Open @astra-raksell.vtubers.social · 15/10/2026

and also i find it insane people are willing to defend a game coming out INCOMPLETE just because "it's packed enough, DLC will fix that". that's literally the issue with modern gaming and people just enable it

110 1

Astra Raksell ✨☄️ VTUBER // CMMs Open @astra-raksell.vtubers.social · 15/10/2026

If they had delayed the game to 2027 I'm sure they wouldn't have suffered from overambitiousness more than it already is overambitious, but someone raised the budget point and that releasing it as it is was the better way, from a game dev point it makes sense (and the only actual unique take)

110 1

Astra Raksell ✨☄️ VTUBER // CMMs Open @astra-raksell.vtubers.social · 15/10/2026

the average take is always "the game is too big and packed already! if they sold us 8 routes in one package we would be overwhelmed!" like the point of a video game is to eat all the content in a single week like 70% of the people did and not just take your damn time.

120 2

Astra Raksell ✨☄️ VTUBER // CMMs Open @astra-raksell.vtubers.social · 15/10/2026

the worst part is that i got flamed for saying it's a shitty business practice to not sell DLC separately and only in a bundle. Like yes, the DLC only costs 35 dollars and the entire content of wave 3 makes up all the price, doesn't mean it should still be a bundle only

110 1

Astra Raksell ✨☄️ VTUBER // CMMs Open @astra-raksell.vtubers.social · 15/10/2026

Posted the same thing on twitter and I'm getting my ass flamed for this. Some made valid points but I'm just getting called stupid ig

Astra Raksell ✨☄️ VTUBER // CMMs Open @astra-raksell.vtubers.social · 15/10/2026

150 5

Astra Raksell ✨☄️ VTUBER // CMMs Open @astra-raksell.vtubers.social · 15/10/2026

Ok yeah it seems like you can only buy the entire expansion pass. this is standard nintendo practice, engage has all waves listed on the eshop but you cant buy them separately. This... sucks

100 1

Astra Raksell ✨☄️ VTUBER // CMMs Open @astra-raksell.vtubers.social · 15/10/2026

well, the eshop page for "Fortune's Weave + Expansion Pass" lists the game and all 3 dlcs separately, but each dlc page doesnt have a price and they all link to the expansion pass page which has a price... i hope you can buy them separately

Astra Raksell ✨☄️ VTUBER // CMMs Open @astra-raksell.vtubers.social · 15/10/2026

I'm happy Wave 3 is only in 2027 which means I can spend money on other things now and worry about FW DLC later

140 4

Astra Raksell ✨☄️ VTUBER // CMMs Open @astra-raksell.vtubers.social · 15/10/2026

I will wait for wave 3 exclusively. at least I know I can still buy ocarina of time now

Astra Raksell ✨☄️ VTUBER // CMMs Open @astra-raksell.vtubers.social · 15/10/2026
