Heroes of Anirea Begins Playtest
Developer Crossbros has started a playtest for its roguelite turn-based tactical RPG Heroes of Anirea. The playtest is available through Steam and lets players go through a run in the grasslands region, taking around thirty minutes. It includes seven playable heroes, twelve enemies, and two bosses.
Heroes of Anirea sees players meet over twenty heroes across the world of Anirea. Each hero has their own story and gameplay elements as players go through a procedurally-generated campaign. Its combat features an ATB-style system, elemental strengths and weaknesses, and customisable equipment. The game is currently planned to release for PC in 2027, with PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 versions to follow, and is set to undergo a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign.
