Honestly think I am going to delete all social media besides Discord for a very special community. I just feel like it drains my time and sanity and provides little back for me. This one is mostly okay, but I just find myself scrolling and not reading a majority of the posts.

I am trying so hard to be zen and wait for Silksong to show up on PSN so I can play the game on my preferred platform. This is putting my yoga training to the test... I am not sure I can remain strong.

I had a scare my girls ran away after pushing the front window screen out. Took an hour to corral them back into the house and I realized how miserable I would be without them here to comfort me.

Woke up from a nap into a massive hail storm. First time I've seen my backyard start to flood.

I haven't eaten in 6 hours. I plead to allow me to get up and let me make food and she snuggled in harder.

I had big plans to tackle house projects I have been procrastinating. But after a short night of sleep I needed a nap and Celes decided to snooze with me. I've been awake for 40 minutes and am stuck because she's too sweet. 😭

I finally beat Death Stranding 1. I think the last few chapters are 11/10 story telling, but everything before that is atrociously paced (except chapters 8).

Today during my WoW raid a guildie said: "Grandma said: 'Kick them while they are down, they may amount to something when they get up.'" Fucking ruthless grandma. 👵☠️

I played of BF6 this morning. Forgot just how chaotic that game is, played incredibly well, but didnt have a great time as the two matches I joined were blowout losses. Like the opposing team had 700+ reinforcements when we lost kind of losses.

Another thing I hate about the whole 2 week notice thing is we have a 30 minute meeting today about transitioning my responsibilities and focused on my departure. Mother fuckers I hate to be the center of attention...

I watched American Psycho and I feel like a Psycho because I thought the movie was just awful. Maybe I was sold an interesting narrative and its just a sherry slasher flick? Actually would be okay being corrected, I feel like this movie made no sense, but I will always hold that against it.

I died more times to the final boss of DK Bananza than the final boss of Lies of P Overture on the hardest difficulty. That feels wrong.

The end of Bananza is the opposite of fun, for me. This game is dropping precipitously in my top 10 of the year.

The day after I put in my two week notice a recruiter reaches out to me for a really good opportunity without submitting an application? Sometimes you just have to trust your instincts.

Crone Zone @crone-zone.bsky.social · 29/07/2025

I will say that despite really enjoying DK Bananza, I struggle to push through games that arent story focused. I was losing steam for a little bit, but now I am really close to the end I am excited to wrap it up.

I'm starting my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in a few weeks. It will be a long while before I ever teach a class, but I want to start stockpiling possible VGM that I can sneak into a yoga class. Feel free to suggest ideas, think of songs that melt into the background nothing too attention grabbing

I want to game, but i doubt I'll have basically any time to do so this weekend. Gotta keep up the gym, spending time with a friend who is back from a serious health scare, and least excitingly, job applications.

I haven't cried this hard in a very long time. Metal music has been one of the few things I have leaned on when I felt alone in this world. Ozzy is a big reason it exists today.

I went to go play Donkey Kong and got distracted with YT videos of Ozzy. I started crying. I don't think that's ever happened with a "celebrity". Watching a rough video of the 2016 Ozzfest just to help remember.

Celes and Terra snuggling with Torgal. Not the FFVI x FFXVI collaboration you were expecting.

I didnt get to game much this weekend due to my brain kind of shutting down. Gotta say I usually love my depressing dramas (like Expedition 33) but having a game like Donkey Kong is perfect when my brain used up all my emotional bandwidth a while ago. Banana makes me happy.

This is going to be absolutely horrible. 90% of why this show is good is because the animation is fantastic. What a waste of money.
