Ipswich v Southampton and us v Leicester at the weekend. A win for us and a Southampton win would be perfect.

Really enjoyed that Moyes first interview. He’s under no illusions about the job but I also think he knows Dyche wasn’t getting the best out the players. I hope DCL flourishes with more chances and there is a player in Harrison somewhere. Let’s see how he lines up. We still miss McNeil

Carl Rolfe @crolfe1981.bsky.social · 10/01/2025

If it wasn’t for going into the new stadium, I think we would be brave but the owners haven’t been here long and they have to make sure we stay in the prem this season. Acc to talksport, Moyes is happy with short term deal and reevaluate in the summer. Thats probably about right for us at the moment

I do understand all of the ‘careful what you wish for’ stuff but we don’t even look like scoring goals. Everyone around us does. Let’s hope they get the appointment right! They have to! I will say thanks to SD for Keeping us up the past 2 years on a shoestring. #Dyche

Well done Luke!! I know Dart players are a different standard now compared to 10 years ago but I don’t think people remember how good Phil Taylor was. He just didn’t have enough players at the top level to compete with. Would’ve liked to have seen him in this generation playing both Luke’s etc.

Is Trent leaving Liverpool for nothing on the same scale as Sol Campbell signing for Arsenal for nothing.?

What a match this is between MVG and Rydz. Both averaging over 102 after 7 sets!

Personally really dislike the lack of respect shown to the Darts players when the crowds boo and cheer missed doubles. This is the world championships. The pinnacle of their career and you’re booing them. Just because they aren’t English. It’s time to take the championships elsewhere or Rotate it.

Does anyone else think that since a) Arteta and b) Maresca have left City that they aren’t quite tactically good enough to break teams down anymore?

DCL looked more of a threat when the CB had 2 strikers to deal with. Funny that!

The last 3 games are a look back into last season run in which worked well for us. Sit deep, counter attack and not try to be what we can’t be with this personnel. We are never going to be possession based with Gana, Doucs and Mangala but we can be in your face, not giving you an inch. I really feel

Anyone seen that Chakvetadze at Watford play. He’s so good, too good for the championship. He would be a decent signing for #Everton

One of those days where I expect us to defend well until the first goal goes in and then fall apart. Anything positive will be a bonus. Let’s not all act like idiots when the inevitable happens at 3pm. Good times are ahead!

2 and a half weeks off work with a bad back (muscle spasms between the vertebrae) 4 Osteopath appointments but finally, it is starting to feel normal ish again. Hopefully back to work Monday for a week before Christmas. Anyone who’s had this will know how painful it is. Especially first few days.

With Danny Jones from @mcflymusic.bsky.social opening up about mental health and men not talking enough on I’m A Celebrity, this really is the time to get on top of this issue. He said he felt relieved to talk and felt better. This should be everyone’s chance!

Anyone else sign up for Amazon prime for 99p for a week because of the football??

000

Carl Rolfe @crolfe1981.bsky.social · 04/12/2024

Not sure what to expect tonight. Wolves in a false position after their nightmare run at the start, we can’t score. Cant take a point either, we must take the game to them as we’ve drawn against some poor sides recently. Palace also have Eze back so they’ll be climbing. Stay positive!

110

Carl Rolfe @crolfe1981.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

I just want someone to come in a get a tune out of our players because they aren’t bad players but being coached terribly. Dyche has to go asap or we are staring relegation in the face and we won’t come back for a while

000

Carl Rolfe @crolfe1981.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

Do Liverpool lose Salah for any African tournaments in the new year?

000

Carl Rolfe @crolfe1981.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

Was having a decent FPL week against rivals until Salah scored. Thankfully he’s gone off

100

Carl Rolfe @crolfe1981.bsky.social · 29/11/2024

That goal should be allowed. Archer onside and I don’t think Fraser interfered with it.

000

Carl Rolfe @crolfe1981.bsky.social · 26/11/2024

I don’t think I’ve a bad squad. Haaland not scoring and Salah returning is the only problem I’m currently having. Getting Salah in without selling Haaland is the biggest problem.

Salah killing my fantasy team Since week 8

020

Carl Rolfe @crolfe1981.bsky.social · 24/11/2024

That’s not a penalty for me. Outside the box and there isn’t a conclusive angle that they’ve shown me to think different

220

Carl Rolfe @crolfe1981.bsky.social · 23/11/2024

At the start of the season, I said I could build a better side without Haaland, I did. I FH him in for Ipswich and then WC him in after that. But my decision to get him in has now backfired. I wish I’d stuck to my original plan

000

Carl Rolfe @crolfe1981.bsky.social · 23/11/2024

We moan at Dyche but if you’re a city fan. Why would you not make subs at HT when you have KDB and Grealish plus others on the bench.

010

Carl Rolfe @crolfe1981.bsky.social · 23/11/2024

What is happening to Man City. It can’t just be Rodri!

030

Carl Rolfe @crolfe1981.bsky.social · 23/11/2024

I just can’t see Dyche being sacked and an interim coming in until the summer when the new owners will then appoint a new manager. I think we are stuck. We won’t go down but it won’t be pretty.

020

Carl Rolfe @crolfe1981.bsky.social · 23/11/2024

Goals win matches, we don’t score goals so just don’t lose. Thats my way of thinking about Everton now. We won’t win, so don’t lose. Probably what Dyche says too 🤦‍♂️

020

Carl Rolfe @crolfe1981.bsky.social · 22/11/2024

Brought Joao Pedro in for Watkins. With a future strategy to get Salah in. Brighton’s run of games is decent. Not sure who else with play the majority of their matches to take advantage of the run. What do you think? #FPL

100

Carl Rolfe @crolfe1981.bsky.social · 21/11/2024

Just logged into my #FPL and instantly realised why I hadn’t done so for nearly 2 weeks. My team is such a mess considering I was 6k in the world after 7 weeks. No Salah is killing me, esp when Cole and EH aren’t producing.

Feeling confident to play Brentford this week. They are poor away and we are decent enough at home. Positives from international break too. It’s given DM time to recover and broja decent training time too. #UTFT.

Watched Peter Kay last night at the O2. It isn’t jam packed with jokes but still funny sense of humour and engages the audience from the start. The weight loss is such a shock to start with but no one knows why he’s been away but he looks fit and healthy-that’s the main thing. He was still Great!!
