my feelings are hard because i was having consensual sex that i was enjoying with my friend. the aggressor was a third person trying to insert himself, who had access to the place we were in. i was scared of him and wanted him to go away but i also didn't want the good part with my friend to stop

"extremist" is not a good label for materially understanding what states actually do. the people put into slavery since the US's coup de tat in Libya don't care if their suffering is a result of moderate bipartisanship or salafist fundamentalism, because it turns out those two things go together

Like I really could not give less of a shit about where exactly you want to place the border of the term "lesbian" if you're still having conniptions at the suggestion that you should actually include the whole set of all women who love women.

"What if a gay trans man whose boyfriend is also a trans man has a connection to a lesbian space even though he's a gay man?" Sounds like a complete non-issue. Now how's that lesbian space doing when it comes to including trans women who exclusively date other women, i.e., lesbian trans women?

i also prefer the original detail that his hair is naturally red, and he dyes it black (possibly at bruce's instigation) to look more like dick. it adds interesting flavour to his relationships and feelings about taking on a second-hand, second-fiddle identity as Robin

i think it's necessary to acknowledge the simple reality that men are overwhelmingly more likely to abuse, and to get away with it, because of the structural condition of material social relations between men and women. but nobody's worst actions are a permanent, unremovable part of their identity

i do not think presuming women's lives are permanently "ruined" by the actions of bad men, and women have no agency to define for ourselves what our traumas mean and what our lives are like, is very compatible with feminism. i doubt you've met this woman. how dare you presume to define every facet
