From the very beginning, it was impossible for Halo: Combat Evolved to have the same impact as the original. Halo 1 was revolutionary for its time. But repeating something revolutionary that has been copied/ done better in the last 25 years is not groundbreaking. But still a nice 7/10 experience imo

Based on a correction by Jason Schreier regarding the layoffs at Assembly, the PR agency that also works for Xbox, I did some research on Assembly: They have been in a restructuring phase since 2024. One reason (surprise) is the focus on automation and the use of AI.
