Apparently people are sharing this far and wide on social media, which I think is horrible. This could cripple ICE operations. PLEASE do not share this.

I submitted my comments today. We should all have freedom for legal purchase. A bank having the right to decide on its own merit what is or is not deemed a reputational risk opens the door to restrictions beyond what may be deemed unsavory by the fickle social standards of today.

We have the right to record ICE agents and other government officials at work in public. Use these tips to document agents’ actions. Read up on your rights and understand the risks at aclu.org/kyr_record-

"Tips for recording federal agents from ACLU organizers. Capture relevant details including agents’ names, badge numbers, documents, and any weapons they’re carrying. Capture context like the surrounding area. Record continuous video to capture the full sequence of events. Copy your photos or videos to other devices so they can’t be lost or deleted. Don’t delete the originals. Try to share your documentation with the impacted individual’s loved ones, their attorney, or local organizations working with impacted community members." Arrow pointing right.

"Tips to protect your digital privacy from ACLU legal experts. Turn off all biometric functions to unlock your phone, including fingerprint and face recognition. Ensure your phone has a strong password. Keep your phone in airplane mode when you don’t need to communicate with others. Turn off location services unless you’re actively using an app that needs access to your location. Communicate with others using secure, encrypted messaging apps."

A simple, beat up, cardboard box. I’ve been experimenting & going back to the basics, as a self taught artist I skipped a vast majority of the groundwork & am at a point where want to be able to push myself to create art that matches my current interests. #digitalart

Mario Guevara has been detained by ICE for more than 100 days in retaliation for his reporting — even though a judge ordered his release on bond. An immigration court just ruled Mario could be deported at any moment. ICE must free him now.

I never really understood why we have the 'don't tread on me' flag in the U.S. Even as a military veteran, this flag has always felt negatively provocative to me, like someone instigating a fight, like conservative propaganda. Now that our rights as Americans and as individuals are being...

Know your rights when protesting, including immigration rights, and review some protest tips from our organizing team.

"Know Your Protest Rights.
You don't need a permit to protest in response to breaking news and you don't need a permit to march in the streets or along sidewalks, as long as you're not obstructing traffic or access to buildings.
When you are lawfully present in any public space, you have the right to photograph anything in plain view, including federal buildings and the police.
If you believe your rights have been violated, when you can, write down everything you remember, get contact information for witnesses, and take photographs of any injuries.
If you get stopped by the police, ask if you're free to go. If they say yes, calmly walk away.
If you get arrested, you have a right to ask why. Otherwise, say you wish to remain silent and ask for a lawyer immediately. Don't sign, say or agree to anything without a lawyer present.
If you get stopped by a member of the military or any law enforcement office at a protest, you have the right to remain silent or to tell them that you'll only answer questions in the presence of an attorney-no matter your citizenship or immigration status.”

#inaturalist is making a wild decision to build genAi in partnership with Google without consulting the community donating to keep the site & research alive. This choice is a sell out & as a byproduct of genAi also destroys the natural environments & creatures we are attempting to document.

You're absolutely right, any active duty military personnel (which the National Guard falls under) have a recognized duty to disobey orders that are unlawful, illegal, or violate the Constitution.
