New paper!: High prevalence of ESBL-E. coli and K. pneumoniae colonisation in young Cambodian children. Healthcare and antibiotic exposure increased acquisition and persistence of ESBL-K. pneumoniae over time, with no effect on ESBL-E. coli colonisation dynamics. link.springer.com/article/10.1...

Our systematic review highlights that the #intestinal_microbiota influences responses to vaccines. We observed a beneficial impact of Bifidobacterium, and a detrimental effect of Pseudomonadota, notably Gammaproteobacteria. Thank you to @nigelcurtis.bsky.social @Cristina Adura rdcu.be/d4fB5
